        ****************

Sergeant H.D Oyeyemi spent the whole night thinking about what to do concerning the frequent complaints of robbery around the student's area in Tanke.

Last week, he had charged his men to announce in Churches, mosques and even wrote a letter to the University of Ilorin vice chancellor's office informing him of the curfew that would start the following week. He'd taken the pain to suggest that the vice chancellor sends memo to all faculties and keep the students informed.

By the time he arrived at his office, a detailed report on the previous night's patrol was brought to him.

As he read the statements written by those detained in their custody, he was disappointed to find one of his Church members amidst them.

Reaching for his phone, he made a call to Pastor Anako who confirmed that no night vigil held at the Church the previous night.

Twiddling the pen on his desk table, he thought of what to do with the student who claimed she was on her way from a night vigil.

Lifting the desk phone to his ear, he requested the presence of the Constable on duty the previous night.

"Constable! Why did you detain the young woman coming from a vigil? Answer me!"

He was surprised to learn from the Constable that the young lady was actually coming from a clubhouse at around twelve past one with her drunk beau when she was brought in earlier that morning.

It all made sense! The bible and reason for the bogus cloth she'd clad herself in was for deception.

Sergeant Oyeyemi instructed  Constable Aliu to release those detained the previous night on bail with the exception of a Miss Lara Pharez. Thanking him for a job well done before dismissing him.

"What's that Sergeant Oyeyemi said about arresting one of our members?" Mrs Anako, the pastor's wife directed the question to her husband.

"I can't say for now. The thing is, he said his boys arrested a lady who claimed to be coming from a night vigil at our Church. You and I know that no night vigil held last night.", he answered.

Grabbing his car keys, he decided to pay a visit to the Sergeant and thank him for a job well done.

Parking his car outside the Division F police station. Pastor Anako greeted the policemen on his way to the Sergeant's office.

After giving a summary of the the report to his Pastor, Sergent was shocked when Pastor said he's never heard the name Pharez before save for the few time he's come across it in his Bible.

Reaching out his hands, he shook Pastor warmly.

" We have dealt with cases of night hawkers before, be rest assured, we'll get to the root of this sir"

"Thank you once again sergeant!" Pastor Anako nodded his head briefly as he strolled out of the police station.

               *************

"Guy! Which kind yawa be this na?" Sir Breezy asked Faramola whose confusion was plainly written on his face.

"What do you mean by that?"

"You had a call from the Division F police station yesterday. Something about detaining your girlfriend."

"Mtcheew! Which girlfriend? Guy! You sabi whine die!" Faramola shook his head at his friend's straight face.
He had spoken earlier that morning with Daramola.

Not until Breezy handed him the data SIM card he gave him did he begin to take him serious.

" When did you receive the call?"

"This morning!"

" I spoke to Dara few minutes ago. She wasn't in the police custody... Wait!" Faramola held his finger up to prevent Sir Breezy from interrupting him.

Hissing angrily, he blurted " See me see trouble o. Na that girl Stephen introduce to me e go be. The one wey I tell you say I dey see with Daramola "

" That na your SIM card oga! I no want again. That girl na pest"

Breezy took the pain to explain how he'd barred a number from calling and sending crazy sensuous textmessages every morning and night. The name on the contact was Stephen church member.

He'd even called her back to tell her on several occasions that the SIM card wasn't with Pharez but its with a course mate.

" Faramola, Framous, PhareZ! Ha ba! Only you. See ehn.. You sure say no be you be the Mr Famous wey bin dey find? When you start to dey bear Pharez ?"
"Na the babe e go be", Faramola concluded.

Faramola decided to narrate how the name had originated from the girl that Stephen introduced to him. He wasn't comfortable with her calling him Framous based on how he came about the name.

There was a day the guys were arguing about famous musicians. In the heat of the argument, he had said WizKid was more " framous " than Davido. That's the reason why he was nicknamed " Mr Framous ". Unlike Dan who wanted to defend his mistakes of calling breeze breezy. That singular act had earned him his title " Sir" and "Breezy" nickname.

" I wasn't comfortable with her calling me Mr Framous that was the reason I told her to call me Abbot or Farasnel as in badoosnel." Faramola defended himself.

"What? That girl daft die! Na Pharez im dey call una abi Mr Famous. Wetin you go tell your babe na?"

"God!" Faramola exclaimed.
He had never thought of himself as Mr Famous. Several unanswered questions flash through his mind. What was it that made Daramola so interested in knowing Mr Famous. Its has to be something that Stephen church member has said to her. After all, they were classmates and likely to  indulge themselves in girly gossips. What could he do?
