Samantha walked into school on the first day of her Senior year looking perfect. She was wearing a perfect navy blue and grey striped shirt from Hollister that fit her perfectly, loosley tucked into short jean shorts with they perfect amount of distress with a dark brown braided belt and silver t-strap sandals. She had lost a lot of weight over the summer, too. She was perfectly tan and she had just dyed her hair a darker brown and curled it perfeclty. Mer makeup was perfect and the only jewlery she wore was a plain silver ring on her right hand.
All of the guys turned to look at her. Cole had his back to her, but when he saw the stunned look on his friend's faces, he turned around and aquired the same look. Samantha just smiled shyly and tucked her bangs behind her ears. She walked right passed Cole to sit with her friends. Even her friends looked stunned. "What?" she asked.
Cole walked over. "Hey, Sam," he said. Samantha turned around and looked up at him. He looked pretty perfect, too. His dark brown hair was effortlessly perfect and his white t-shirt that showed off his muscels was loosly tucked into his distressed jeans and he was wearing tan Sperry's on his feet. "Hey, Cole," she replied. "You look really nice today," Cole told her. "Thanks, you too," she smiled up at him. "I was just wondering if, maybe, you wanted to go to the football game with me this Friday?" he asked, nervously. "I'd love to!" Sam beamed. "Great! See you later," Cole quickly turned around and went back to his friends before Samantha had a chance to change her mind, not that she ever would. "Oh my gosh!" Samantha's friend, Emma, said as soon as Cole was out of earshot. "What?" Samantha blushed.

Sam kept running into Cole throughout the day. He seemed to always be passing by her locker or showing up to talk to her teachers before class. And every time they met, he would stare at her, until she would look back at him, then he would turn away, blush, and smile.
At lunch, Cole and some of his friends asked if they could sit with Sam and her friends. "Of course!" Emma answered quickly. They sat together and talked all of lunch. "So, Sam," Cole started, "What'd you do this summer?" Samantha thought for a moment before replying, "I spent most of it at the beach with some of my friends. Then I went to cheer camp, church camp, and swim meets. What about you?" Cole smiled shyly and his cheecks blushed breifly. "I spent my whole summer thinking of you." Samantha was about to relpy when the bell rang. Everyone shot up from the table and rushed to class.
That had been so sweet of him, even if it was a terrible pick-up line. The truth was, Samantha had spent her whole summer with him on her mind, too.
