(Reader's POV)

[10:51 p.m.]

It was late. The whole neighborhood is probably asleep already, execpt for me. My eyes fought back the sleepiness and I just can't help myself to think of what occurred today.

I twist to my side, trying to get a better sleeping position.

I hoped that Hoseok is sleeping and taking care of himself, I worry too much about him. I'm afraid something else might happen to the poor boy.

And I quite miss him already.

Suddenly, almost likely a miracle, my phone's notification ringtone went off, jolting me awake right when I was ready settled in. I reached for the device and squinted my eyes to the brightness of my phone.

1 new message from hobi hoseok!

I quickly opened the message.

"From: hobi hoseok
To: (y/n)

(y/n) are you awake?"

I quickly typed back a reply.

"i am now"

"sorry, didn't mean to wake you up"

"its okay. is there anything you would like to explain why you're still awake when you should be resting?"

"well, unfortunately, i couldn't sleep and right now im in front of your house"

What?

I stood up from my bed in shock, reading the message again and again.

"look outside." He typed. I reached out to my curtains and looked out from the glass, and saw the one and only, Jung Hoseok. Who was fiddling his phone and laughing at my reaction.

I widened my eyes and immediately opened the window, slowly. Making sure it didn't creak of noise.

I whispered-yelled out "What are you doing!?" to the grinning male, he coughed and looked up to me.

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, come down and have a date with me." He mischievously smirked, bowing and gesturing like a gentleman.

I covered my mouth from letting out any giggles or noises that could wake my parents up. It looks like sleep can wait.

"Are you serious? You do know my parents are asleep in the next room right?" I tried raising my voice, not too loud. He laughed. "So, are you in?"

"If my parents find out, I'm dead." I warned him and sighed deeply, then I looked back to my door, praying to God my parents wouldn't wake up.

I really wanted to go out, but at the same time I didn't know if it's okay.

I gazed at the dark night sky and the empty road begging to be droved over, then glanced back to the grinning male under my window. It felt like I was breaking a rule, like I was crossing the line but - I couldn't help it. My parents never had been strict because (they're very nice folks okay, they wouldn't hurt a bug.) they wanted me to be independent in a way for the sake of my future.
