(Reader's POV)
"There! I already put my phone number in your contacts! Make sure to text me tonight or I'll spam you with puns!" Hoseok threatened harmlessly, pouting his lips in a adorable way as he gave back my phone to me.
"Okay, fine fine, Hoseok! Thanks!" I laughed at his cute actions, waving goodbye to him.
"Bye, bye, ___________!!" Hoseok waved happily to me as he walked backwards, and ran away with Jimin on his side.
My smile didn't falter, it stayed on as long until I got home. Today was amazingly fun, it couldn't be even better. My friendship with Hoseok seemed to be improving as I learn lots of things about him, getting to know him better. I hope it lasts long.o
Opening the door to my home, I was greeted by my parents who were watching TV together, cuddling. Noticing my good mood, they questioned about school today and mentioned my sudden cheerfulness, I just responded with a not-so suspicious "Just a great day at school". They look satisfied with my answer, because I knew they want the best for me.
I climbed upstairs to my uncleared bedroom, and lazily put my bag down. I closed the door shut, a "click" sound came out. Right when I can lay on my bed, I hear my phone's notification ringing off. I shuffled through my pockets and found my noisy phone, I turned it on only to see I got a message from... Hoseok.
My face lit up in happiness, and I quickly opened the message.
"From: hobi hoseok
To: __________
knock knock"
Oh no.
"who's there?"
"Toby"
"Toby who?"
"Toby or not Toby, that is the question."
I facepalmed but my smile was still on my face, I can feel my throat bubbling with incoherent giggling at Hoseok's lame knock knock joke. Under the joke, was a quick "lol" from Hoseok, I immediately replied back.
"lmao you're really something, Hoseok." I texted, I waited for his reply.
"of course! I'm jung hoseok duhhhh" Replied Hoseok, with an insane amount of emojis under his reply, I wasn't suprised.
"btw today was amazing, I had alot of fun! your prank was hilarious, I'll cherish this memory forever"
"glad you had fun, babe. We should do this again sometime ♥"
My heart jumped at the word "babe" but I'm pretty sure it was just nothing necessary.
"yeah, i just hope i don't have to be your detention partner." I sarcastically texted.
"ouch babe that hurt lol but I'll be lonelyyyyyyy cmon lets be rebels ;)))"
