You sighed calmly while staring at the white door that shined silver from the lighting. You breathed one more time in your nose and out your mouth before you put your closed fist on the door. You knocked gently but loud enough for anyone to hear on either side of the door.

"Come in."

You pushed open the door. Your sight travels along the bright walls to the middle of the room where a steel desk was and a middle-aged woman sat, slight gray hairs were peaking through her brown locks tied in a bun.

"You wanted to see me, Chief?"

"Come, now, child," she chuckled to herself, "Is that anyway to greet your mother?"

"Uh," I uttered, "During working hours, yeah."

The woman only chuckled in response and gestured for you to sit at a resting area where a tea set was waiting for the both of you. You sat next to her on a different arm chair as she poured your tea. You weren't much of a tea person but it was an excuse to spend time with your adoptive mother. You took a sip of your tea from the delicate cup and set it back down with a clank.

"You wanted to speak with me?" you cleared your throat as you asked.

"Well," she started as she set down her cup as well, "You forgot your morning tea with me so you're making it up for it now."

You groaned in realization. Your mother set to having spend time with you at least once every day. You would usually have tea first thing in the morning with her and then go on to work. This morning you didn't have any time to have a drink when you woke up to an alarm because the nightmares were spotted.

"Sorry, mother," you sighed, "I've been fighting all morning." You bowed your head apologetic in your seat with your hands supported on your knees.

You felt a gentle hand rest on yours. You lifted your eyes up to her to see just as equally gentle eyes that held a smile with them. "It's alright, darling," she said, "I'm not angry. You've been working hard. I'm just happy you're safe and sharing tea with me now."

You lifted yourself straighter when she let go of your hand. She went back to her tea and sipped silently. You stayed quiet wanting to speak your mind of what was going on as of recently, but it was against the rules whenever you are having tea with your mother. Despite your mother's gentle nature, she was quite strict.

Huh, sounds familiar.

"I will only allow this once," she disrupted your thoughts, in which you responded with a jolt, "So speak your mind, child."

You hesitated before speaking, "That's the thing. I don't know where to start because something is going on. I mean I don't have any actual proof but I just have a feeling."

"Ah," she hummed, "You sense it, too." She completely rested her cup on the table before getting up to walk over the window. She looked out of the window before going over to her desk to press a button, making the room darken as the windows were covered.

You sat your tea down while looking at her strangely. "What do you mean?"

"You have a gift, [Name]," she started, "I mean you were always special, but you have something that no one else will ever have."

"And that is?" you urged.

"I don't know, but you will find out soon," she answered.

"Okay," you dragged, "But that doesn't explain the sudden uproar in Pitch's advances."

She came to your side and rested a hand on your shoulder. "Why don't you rest up in your office and see what you usually think up of like you usually do?"

You blinked as the idea sinked in. Of course, why didn't you think of it before?

You quickly sat up and bid your mother goodbye. "Goodbye, Mother." You didn't even stay to hear her reply you ran out the door. You slowed your pace and came around the corner to the elevator. You reached the lobby in no time. You walked passed your teammates as they watched you go.

"There she goes."

"She's going to do the thing!"

You ignored them and walked to your office. You could have a room near your mother but you didn't think anything of it and you liked fighting with everyone else, so you decided to have at least a private room to yourself on the same floor as everyone else. Once you were in your office, you closed the door and sat at your desk with a heavy sigh. You closed your eyes for a minute then reopened them to stare at your desk. Immediately, you opened the supply draw and saw it there.

A two page letter, front and back, were there waiting for you. You picked it up and read it.

In the far ocean of the Barbaric Archipelago, a land of ice and earth held the king of dragons. The king was accompanied by dragons of all kind. The dragons accepted this king to be their ruler and alpha. The king didn't take their blessing for granted as he took care of each and every one of dragon The took refuge in his domain. He was loved and respected.

One day, one of his dragons took in a different type of species. The Stormcutter gently laid the woman down but she cowered away in fear. She crawled away, fearful for her life. She was cornered with every dragon growling in intimidation. The Stormcutter roared and protected the woman under his wings. The dragons backed off. The Stormcutter comforted the woman while she stared in amazement.

When the woman finally felt comfortable to ride on the Stormcutter, the dragon brought her to his king. At first, she froze when she saw the beast, but as he blew a gentle breeze towards her way, she smiled.

From that point on, she trained with dragons as they became her allies, her friends, and her family. She took care of any dragon that came her way with her dragon, the Stormcutter. She would even rescue dragons that were slaves to her own kind.

Though, no matter what good deed she accomplished, she still remembers the day she had fail her subconscious.

You looked for anymore than what has showed. That was it? It had nothing to do with Pitch! And dragons? You never have heard of it before. You wouldn't be surprised if you would see them but you haven't seen one before so you thought they were extinct. Then again, you never been to this "Archipelago" place before. Or it could be just old news and the dragons are really extinct.

You sighed in irritation and rubbed your temples. This sign was too vague and didn't make any connection at all. You sat back in your chair trying to think for a moment.

You stood and grabbed the paper, folding it into three parts and putting it into an envelope. You walked out your office and order Hiro to follow you.

"Get the jet ready. We're going on a trip."
