Kageyama arrived at the gym for his first game in the tournament his team had entered. He scanned the gym in search of his team. He soon spotted them and walked over. He quietly greeted them and then joined them warming up on the court.
Hinata walked into the large, crowded gym. The ref head was completely awestruck. He deeply inhaled the scent of the rubber volleyballs that filled the gym.
"Wow..." he said breathlessly,
"It's so big!" He was already in love with everything about tournaments; playing volleyball, the big gym, the excitement, all the different teams, He headed over to their court to warm up. The second he set foot within the lines of the court he felt at home. Hinata sighed with satisfaction. He knew that no one else on his makeshift team even knew how to play, but that didn't matter to him. Being the optimistic person he was, he still believed they could win. Hinata smiled at his friends reassuringly, even though he was terrified. The team they were playing was tall and very intimidating. They all looked very skilled. One player in particular looked really scary, he was tall, had raven black hair, and ice cold blue eyes. Hinata shivered at the sight of him.
"Sheesh! I wonder how he even has friends, he's so scary looking," the red head mumbled to himself. Hinata had almost completely forgotten that today was the day he was going to meet his soulmate. Once they had their first conversation, his timer will end and he will receive a flower marking somewhere on his body. His timer now read 0:57:13. Being preoccupied, he didn't realize that meant nearly right after the match he would finally meet his soulmate. The whistle blew, indicating that it was time to start the game. Hinata stepped onto the court, he was ready to play.
