"She's back."
"Who?" All fingers pointed in my direction.
"Why'd she leave?"
"I heard that she got a contract filming some movie or maybe porn."
"No she go cancer."
"No she got shipped away to her grandparents place up north."
"You idiots the real reason is because she got PREGNANT."
And that's what I, Eliza Mackenzie, have been bracing for all week. All the rumors, stares and questions that would face me after a year and a half. Before I took my 'leave of absence' I was little miss popular. I had prefect hair, perfect clothes, prefect friends and of course the perfect life.
That was until I found out I was going to be a mother, and within nine months I was. His name is Jaxon Mackenzie. He has bright blue eyes (much like mine) and dark brown hair (much like my natural colour). I immediately decided to drop school when I found out and study the remainder of year 10 and 11 online.
Now I'm returning to school in my senior year with straight, short, red hair, my favourite 'bring me the horizon' shirt on and an old pair of jeans. I had one friend, a crappy car and my hair certainly doesn't shine like it used to. As far as everyone was aware I was a single mother who is trying to graduate and get somewhere with her life.
I was going to study my ass off, pass with flying colours and fly under the radar as much as possible.
How hard could that be?
A/N: okay i know that that was not the best first chapter but bare with me i promise you that the story will get better i just have to get to all the drama and events that i want to happen, and i can't do that without introducing the characters and giving you guys a bit of background
