9. Act Natural

ELIZA P.O.V

I have to find Amber and get the hell out of here. I threw everything into that kiss, why? Because he is so bloody attractive, plus if that is the only kiss I get for the next 10 years it was so worth it. The problem? He knew. He knew that I tried to kiss the living hell out of him.

Finding her and Ric making out in some shady dark corner, I tapped her shoulder repeatedly until she turned around.

"What?" She snapped at no one in particular.

"I have to go now."

"Now?" She whined.

"Now!" We gazed at each other intently. "Am I taking you home or not?"

"Yeah you can crash at mine." She gave Ric a long and passionate kiss before following me to the car. Hopping in the drivers seat I turned the car on and rolled down the windows.
"Why do we have to leave in such a hurry?"
"I kissed him."
"Who?"
"Zach."
"Sh*t!"
"Yep."

ZACHARY P.O.V

I watched as she ran out of the door. Damn my head was still spinning from the kiss earlier. Ric approached me looking glum.

"Whats up man?"

"Amber just left as the party was getting good, if you knew what I mean."

"Yep I know exactly what you mean." I sighed under my breath. "You wanna head back to mine?" I grabbed the keys out of my pocket. Either way I was leaving this party even if Ric wasn't in the passenger seat.

"Yeah." He sighed and followed me out the door and towards the car. I blasted the radio to drown out any chance of conversation. My head was too messed up to hold a proper one. and thankfully it worked, we made it to my place without any sort of communication. We stubble through the door and head upstairs to my room. Opening the door I chucked Ric on my bed and headed to the bathroom. I stripped of all clothing and took a long ice cold shower.
I stood under the spray for 30 minutes before deciding to just give up, get changed and go to bed.
I'll deal with my problems another day.

"So let me get this right. She kissed the living hell out of you, then left you all hot an bothered." I nodded and Ric tried hard to contain his smirk. "And what did she say after you got hot and bothered?"

"It was only a dare sweetheart." Ric lost his shit and cracked up laughing the whole food court was watching us. I let my head fall with an extra loud thump and a giant sigh.

"Sorry mate, but that is the best thing I have ever heard. She definitely has some spunk to her." Ric wiped tears from his eyes.

"Yep you can say that again. Bu what am I supposed to do about it?" I stared at Ric across the table with pleading eyes, but all he could give me was a shrug of his shoulders. The great help that he is. I gave a final huff before steering the conversation to football. And it stayed on that topic until I dropped him home.

"See you Monday." With a final nod I headed home.

Monday came sooner than I had hoped. I parked out front and headed towards Ric's truck. Amber wasn't there and neither was Little Red. Thank god.

"They here?"

"Yeah, they're inside getting books ready for the first lesson." I nodded my head in response and casually lent up against the side of his car.

I'm a bloke. I'm not meant to have all these emotions, but now I do. And I crave to feel her lips back on mine. They were sweet and soft, and now I'm addicted. Like a drug. And I need more.

"Alright mate time to face the music."

"Okay." I slumped my shoulders and headed towards the front door, Ric right by my side. I pushed through the doors and looked straight down the hall. And there she was, walking the direction I was heading.

"What do I do if she stops to talk to us?"

"Act natural?" He said with a shrug.

"If you say so." And with a final intake of breath I took a step towards my

I apologize that I haven't updated in a while but with school, work, netball and I have started to write another book, I have been very busy. But i promise to update every week or two from now on when I have the chance.
