ELIZA P.O.V

My eyes met his and I gulped. Crap I was really hoping that he wouldn't be here today. But there he is, standing in the flesh, heading towards. Looking just as uncomfortable as I am. That brought a smile to my face, I never imaged a guy like Zach would feel uncomfortable because of a girl.

"Hey you don't mind that I gotta talk to Ric for a second, do you?" Amber bit her lip nervously.

"Nah go talk to your lover boy." I teased as they inched closer. She gave me a dazzling smile before skipping towards Ric and throwing her arms around his neck.

"I'm sorry I left you baby." She cooed in his ear as I came face to face with the handsome devil himself. He smiled awkwardly before nodding at me, "Little Red."

"Reeves." He did an awkward little head nod and I rolled my eyes at him.

"What?" Zac snapped in my face.

"What what?"

"Why'd you roll your eyes at me Little Red?"

"I just don't understand that's all."

"And what exactly do you not understand?"

"You could go around kissing any single girl you like but when one kisses you, as a dare, you turn into some shy awkward little princess."

"And what do you want me to do? Do you want me to flirt with you? Do you want me to shove you up against that wall and kiss the living hell out of you until you don't remember your own name?" Yes.

"No because you'd probably enjoy that too much. I, on the other hand, would probably punch you."

"Really? Because on Friday night you enjoyed my company a little too much." His eyebrow raised as the cocky grin lined his face.

"It was a dare you asshole."

"Then why did you kiss the way you did?"

"Because I was dared to so I did."

"Yeah but it wasn't like any normal kiss."

"Oh sweetie if you've never been kissed like that in your whole entire life then that's just sad." As Amber pulled on my arm signaling to go I turned around suddenly catching the attention of everybody passing.

"I know you love me Zachary Reeves but please do try and contain it in my presence." I had anticipated him to get all nervous and awkward instead his cocky smirk grew.

"Sorry darling but when you wear those jeans i just can't contain myself."

"Well just try to keep your friend inside your pants. Shouldn't be too hard considering he is so small." I gave him a parting grin as ooh's and aah's filled the hallway. Yep I definitely had him on that one. I pictured his face and couldn't contain a little laugh.

"I would say that was mean but girl damn that was a pretty decant comeback." Amber high-fived me and we continue forward to our English class.

ZACHARY P.O.V

Eliza's run-in had been playing over and over in my mind and now that I was stuck sitting across from her at lunch I couldn't help but remember her eyes. The fierce fire that they held as she was making a point. The giggle in them as she made a witty comeback. Her whole being made me smile. And then I had to snicker at the thought. I wasn't like this. I wasn't the type of guy to get giddy over a girl, and I not going to be like that now. But why was this happening now? Because Eliza was back, and she played a dangerous game by kissing me. And lucky for her two can play this game. I smirked cockily before leaning back in my chair and finally paying attention to Ric's conversation.
"Whats with the cocky look Reeves?" Little Red sneaked up on me as I had exited the cafeteria.
"Why? Does it worry you?"
"Well if it has something to with me then yes it does." I lent forward and brushed my fingers up her arm. I watched playfully as he eyes widened at the contact. Bingo! That's the reaction I was going for.

"You don't have to worry yet, Little Red." And with that I brushed past her and continued forward.
