Alex POV
Riker. I miss talking to him and phone calls won't cut it. I'm going out with lunch with him today while Elizabeth the neighbor next door takes care of Ethan. I'm getting ready and I decide on not taking Danger. I check myself one more time and I decide I look ok (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=108502837). I smile and walk out of the apartment locking the door behind me. I sneak a peak into Elizabeth's apartment to see Ethan watching spongebob.
"Hey,"I whisper to Elizabeth who is just watching the t.v with Ethan.
"He's asleep,"she whispers back.
"Already? I haven't even left yet,"I whisper looking into her hazel eyes.
"As lazy as the mom I guess,"she shrugs and I lightly smack her on the arm while we both laugh. Ethan stirs and we both freeze.
"Well I should get going,"I say smiling any beginning to walk away.
"Use protection,"she says while poking her head out of the apartment.
"He's my best friend!"I say while walking backwards.
"That you haven't seen in ages and I bet your dying to kiss him,"she says with a grin as she walks back in to her apartment.
My car was brought this morning so I go to the parking lot. I stick the key in expecting the ignition to roar to life but only getting a small roar.
"What the hell!"I exclaim to Robert the mechanic who according to him fixed my car!
*I changed the parts and everything!*
"Yeah well my car isn't working so figure it out!"I screamed hanging up on him.
I sighed and hoped Riker wasn't at the restaurant yet.
"Hey,"I said when the phone stopped ringing.
*Hey, where are you?* he asked immediately.
"See the jackass-"I begin.
*Language* he cuts in.
"Your right that wasn't the appropriate word,"I say and I can practically see him smile.
"The asshole that fixed my car,"I begin and he sighs,"didn't fix it!" I thought I had calmed down but the anger is still here when I remember that my car isn't fixed.
*Well then hail a taxi* he replays.
"By the time I hail a taxi and actually get there at least 30 minutes will have passed.
*Send me the address of your apartment and well order some take out* he says agreeing to my first option.
