Josh and I sat on the warm golden sand on the beach. Somehow I have always felt uncomfortable to be near the beach, like I don't belong there. Can't be Poseidon either.
"I thought Chiron's speech would be more important than trying to improve the camp." I started, breaking the silence.
"Yeah same. So... are you going to tell me what that small embarrassing scene was about?" He questioned. I took a deep breath,
"Well, it's not like you would believe me..."
"Hey, we're demigods with extreme parental issues." He interruped a huge smile spread across his face, exposing his teeth. With my spirits lifted, I grinned.
"Anyway," I began as my grin disappears. "When we were waiting for Chiron's speech outside the farmhouse we were literally waiting for half an hour and Chiron definitely wasn't on time. Everyone else was standing like statues." I peered at Josh and he gestured for me to continue. "I looked at you and you weren't moving, blinking or... or breathing. I swear I'm not insane, I was the only able to move around."
I waited for a reponse but nothing came. We sat in silence until Josh said,
"We should tell Chiron and if you are mad then I will pick a fight with Mr D." Mr D (a.k.a Dionysus,) was the god of wine and madness. He also has a very short temper. I don't argue with him. I knew this is serious.
We decided we would tell him at the campfire. When we was there, everyone acted normal, dancing and singing with the Apollo cabin except for Josh who was sitting next to me. He air smelt like smoke and burnt marshmallows. I still had he taste of mine on my tongue, sweet and sugary.
Tyler came to sit on the other side of me,
"You two alright stropping here?" He asked. The reflection of the blazing fire flickered in his chocolate brown eyes. He had ash hair that was closely cut to his head. He wore a blue hoodie with grey skinny jeans. He didn't look like a son of Athena, more like a modern singer. But I have heard a rumour that Tyler was dared to sing something and it sounded like he was screaming. Well, I guess people are good at things, bad at others.
I stared at Josh and had a silent conversation. I raised my eyes as if to say Should we tell him? He replied by nodding. Yeah, we can trust him. I turned back to Tyler and told him.
He looked at us and stared. I have seen many children of Athena do it just like they are figuring out the problem while they have their mouth hanging open to answer it. When Tyler did it he just looked terrifying.
   "What?"
"I think this might be because of your godly parent, I have a few ideas of who it could be but I can't be sure." I could tell wuen a son on Athena is stuck it is frustrating; to have the goddess of wisdom for a mother, it's kind of ironic.
"So who could be my dad?" I asked desperately.
"I couldn't say. I don't want to get your hopes up. You should tell Chiron, now."
Josh, Tyler and I walked up to Chiron. Chiron is the camps activity director and he is also a centaur. A centaur is a creature that is half horse half man. From the waist up Chiron is a man, from the waist down he's a white stallion. Dometimes he compacts himself in a wheelchair somehow, only revealing his tweed waistcoat and his teal blue button up shirt. Tonight he wasn't in his claustrophobic wheelchair,
"Chiron we need to speak with you, it's about... Brendon" Tyler started. Chiron stared at me baffled,
  "Okay, proceed."
I told him everything (now it was getting a bit tedious), and he began to look at me uneasily.
"We now know your godly parent Brendon, it's, ah, it's Ha..."
Suddenly, a burst of blood red appeared out of nowhere and the campers gasped and stared at my head in shock. Is it my gorgeous hair again?I looked up and saw a red helmet hovering above my head.

"Brendon Urie. Son of Hades."
