Walking through the woods, hearing the echoing sound of waves crashing with no direction, only meters away from me..
Made panic grow in my chest as they walked passed me.

I crossed my arms in defense as hundreds of eyes watched me,
his lost boys.

They each motioned towards me one way or another, but backed off the moment they would touch me. More like repelled off.

Maybe it was me,
Maybe it was Peter.

But either way, I had to escape.

My eyes glanced beyond where my eyes could see.

I was looking to see if there were any other boys walking this way.
And there weren't none.

Peter had ourselves directed on a certain path. Like a regular path you would see in a park or a garden.
Not the secret dirt roads and places here he was trying to keep me away from.  He was smart.
He was keeping them hidden.

When I woke up on the beach,
I ran aimlessly.
I knew I hadn't run far, hence my physique.
Its like I had a mental note or a voice telling me in my head saying,

'You're not alone in here. It's guarded. The deeper you go in, the harder it is to get out'.

The cabin I was in hadn't to have been too far into the island.
I could still briefly hear the waves crashing from there.
Gently, but not as rough as it is right now, after the storm.

It was gloomy and muggy today. The mud from the ground clung onto the soles of my boots, Peter's boots.

Peter gave me a deep uneasy feeling. His silence was threatening me. As well as his lost boys.
I could tell they looked up to Peter.

As we passed each lost boy not one of them snickered, but whispered things like:

'Looks like we got a new Wendy'

Or

'Females are a minority'
'Weak'
'Useless'
'Disloyal'
'Who is she'

The rage got to me so deeply,
that I guess I snapped.

"Shut the hell up!" I screamed at the  lost boys who walked past me,
who now stopped - staring me down.

A darker lost boy stepped in front of the others pointing his finger at me,

"Who you think you're talking to lady?"

I slapped his hand out of my direction as I pushed him backwards,
"Keep your comments to yourself!"

Abruptly the boy swung at me, only making me duck as Peter broke it up putting his hand on my shoulder,

"Whoa whoa easy Will. No need to spice things up with a piece of dirt, now should we?"

I was brought back from what Peter had said, had I even thought that we could be acquaintances. Not even that. I pushed his arm off my shoulder making direct eye contact with Peter,

"You can screw off too, you mutt." I hissed at him.

The 3 boys oo'ed as Will snarked,

"You're gonna let her take you like.. Might as well kill her now." He said walking towards me only to he stopped by Peters arm.

"I got this." Peter informed him and the boys that stood behind him.

Peter confronted me, standing in front of me with his arms crossed,

"Now listen here little mouse,"
Oh how those words irked me,

"I don't know who you think you're are. I've shown you mercy, now let's go." Peter said grabbing my arm.
