After Peter said he wanted my soul, abruptly one of the Lost Boys I saw from earlier came into Peter's hut, glancing at me up and down. He said that they had a hut ready for me.

I asked who's hut was it,
he replied subtly that it was Wendy's. Peter and I parted our ways soon after and I was now walking behind the tall scrawny lost boy.

The crickets soon began to chirp as my feet began crunching over every branch in our way.

The lost boy turned back towards me, his greenish golden eyes shown somehow.

His medium plumped lips in a straight line.
His dark full eyebrows furrowing at my face. His lightly tanned yet pale skin and his long dark curly brown hair beginning to be tucked behind his ears.

"Walk in front of me."

My heart began beating faster as he motioned with his head for me to come forward,
"I'm fine back here thank you."

He shook his head,
"For your safety, I suggest you walk in front of me." He whispered lowly, then continued, "You're being followed. Step in front of me. I won't ask again."

And like a little puppy I sprinted in front of him, looking back at him as he nodded at me. Like I did a good job.  "Thank you."

"I was there you know." He said the moment my sentence ended.

I turned back and glanced at him then began walking forward again, "What?"

"When you just basically appeared out of no where on Neverland and was runnin' through the woods being chased by us. I was chasing you too, you know. But I was the only one who backed away. I got beat for it, because I snitched and told Peter." He said walking faster to where he was walking next to me.
He looked down at me and gave me half a smile.

Who beat him?
The murderer?

I crossed my arms, trying to make my chest look bigger, "So you basically saved me?"

He let out a soft laugh, "I basically saved you, even with a murderer on the lose and all," He cracked his neck, "Your name?"

"Violet, like the flower." I said jokingly, lending out my hand for him to take it.

He took it and shook it. He actually took it, "Alex, like the parrot."

I laughed, "Interesting."

He laughed along with me letting go of my hand and pointing to the hut behind the trees, "Well, this is your home. If you'd like I'll walk you in."

I looked behind me seeing a couple of lost boys stare at me and smirk. I changed my attention to Alex, like a child I grabbed onto his dirty brown shirt and nodded, "Please do."

I don't know why I grabbed onto him, I just felt like I needed to. I just wanted to get far far away from everyone, from Neverland, from Peter. I felt so panic induced, that I clenched harder onto Alex's shirt and rested my head on his arm.

And he let me.
That's the thing.
He didn't care.

Walking into the hut, I realized it was very spacey. There was a bookshelf filled with books. And semi- medium bed on the left side of the wall. White sheets, pillows. An actual bed, with actual sheets.

My eyes went back to a time where the bed was something different something larger. And then I snap back into reality.
A different sameness.
