Niall's P.O.V
"A-Are you ok?" She asked in the softest tone I have ever heard. I slowly nodded, wanting nothing more than to hug her and apologize a thousand times. But I oddly tried to push that thought away as I placed my shaking hands on the ground, lifting myself up with the slight help from Marly. Without thinking, I turned to Marly and pulled her into a big hug.
"I'm sorry," I mumbled in her neck as she slowly wrapped her arms around my torso.
"Don't be," She replied. I smiled, pulling away to look at her.
"S-Shouldn't we be heading to Wawa," I nervously laughed as she agreed with a small nod. Our entire trip to the small store was quiet but less awkward once we approached the place. I opened the door for her, a quiet thank you coming from her mouth as she entered before me. I followed Marly down the aisles, my eyes scanning the delicious food I could not buy.
"I have enough money, you could get something," Marly smiled at me. Turning my body towards her, I immediately shook my head.
"Oh, no. I don't want to waste your money. I can always eat later," I reassured her.
"Are you sure? I don't want you starving to death in my presence," She laughed, lightening my mood. I shook my head, telling her I was fine. She finished picking out her Uncle's big breakfast and after she purchased the food, we were out of the store. I glanced at the park, trying to find the courage to ask Marly what I've been wanting to ask for what felt like eternity-which was only a day or two.
"Hey, Marly." I'm finally doing it!
"Yes, Niall?" She chuckled, staring ahead of us.
"Um, I was hoping you would like to. . . uh, come over to watch a football game?" No, you idiot! Some girls aren't into football, maybe she isn't! "I mean, a movie! N-Not football. Unless you want to. . . watch that?" The response I got was a simple laugh.
"Of course, Niall. I would love to come over and watch either football or a movie," She smiled at me, causing me to smile widely.
"Is six a good time for you?" I asked, staring down at her hand that was slightly brushing against mine.
"Six is great. Expect me to be there in my pajamas. Weird fact about me, I only like to watch movies in my pajamas," She stated, causing me to laugh.
"So you go to the movie theater in your pajamas?" I curiously questioned, raising both eyebrows in amusement.
"Yes! Nothing wrong with a girl wearing pajamas in a public movie theater, crying while watching The Perks of Being a Wallflower," She smiled and shrugged. I laughed once more as I shook my head.
"You're weird," I confessed, in a joking manner.
"And so are you!" She shoved my upper arm playfully just as we approached my house. "Well, I'll see you at six, Niall!" She announced, smiling at me before continuing down the sidewalk.
"Don't forget to show up at my doorstep in your pajamas, or else I'm not letting you in!" I called out, causing her to erupt with laughter.
"Wasn't going to plan on having that happen!" She ended the conversation, traveling further down the sidewalk, with me watching her walk in the distance. I let out a happy sigh before I entered what looked like chaos and hell. The first person to spot me was Zayn. He called for the rest of the boys as I watched them rush into the room.
"What the hell, where were you this morning, Niall?!" Harry yelled, his eyebrows furrowed in anger.
"Sorry I was with Marly." I quietly replied.
