Chapter 3

               Maya closed her eyes the knife was right at her neck but she heard Marlex and Unique trying to get Latrell off her. She struggled to get him off she bit his hand Latrell was on the ground fighting with Unique. Marlex sat by Maya making sure that she was Okay Marlex had the knife now and there was silence. Maya sat behind Marlex she knew should could trust him. They tied Latrell's arm to something and put weights over it. "Latrell you have to stop this crazy stuff." Marlex said putting a arm around Maya making her feel safer, "This is Maya. Stop acting crazy."       

       Maya kept staring at Unique. They all sat in Marlexs room in silence. "I'm sorry." Latrell said. "I don't know what happened to me." He tried getting Maya to pay attention to him but she wasn't paying attention. Maya said something in Marlexs ear he nodded to whatever she said. Maya stepped out of the room and left to go somewhere. "Latrell I will have to shoot you if you even hurt her." Unique said. Marlex looked up as he had a idea he told Unique but Unique didn't agree. When Maya came back they told her she didn't agree either. Latrell wanted to know what they were talking about he still cared about Maya and loved her but there relationship was failing. "Maya and Latrell can go walking  in the woods together to settle this." Marlex said out loud. Unique gave Maya his knife. "We will be here if Anything even happens." He told her as Latrell and her walked outside.

 Latrell Pov,

          Maya turned to Me. "Okay. You know I'm not Maya. so stop trying to ruin everything." She said smiling evilly. "So.. Where is Maya?" He asked a little worried the thing everyone thought was Maya Shrugged. (I now called her Maya2) "Probably almost dead. If Ej did what he was told." Latrell's eyes widened he tackled Maya2 and took the knife and stabbed her. It screamed but I remembered Jordyn was up the road. I started running threw the woods calling Mayas name. I was pushed to the ground by Ej I tried to get him off. "Where is Maya!" I yelled punching him in the face he punched me back. I couldn't get up Ej went behind a tree I saw him pick up Maya's body but I couldn't tell if she was alive. I got up again Ej put Maya down he smiled. "Why are you even doing this?" I asked him. "Just Revenge." He said pushing me back on the ground I saw Maya2 come back with blood running down her arm. "Well Latrell. It seems your smarter than I thought. To bad your gonna die." Ej pulled out a gun I heard screaming and someone running his my friend Stephon knocked the gun out of his hand he helped me up. "Thanks." I said I didn't know Ej had a gun in his hand. I saw Ej fall someone shot him I looked around I forgot Maya was there the real one. I saw her with the gun she shot Ej I tried to pick her up but she had blood on her jacket. Stephon saw I couldn't pick her up he helped me pick her up. I kissed her on her forehead I could see she was awake just not talking. "Latrell she in bad shape." I nodded looking in her brownish eyes. "I came from Marlex's house come on lets go there." I said rushing out of the woods.

     I ran inside to see that Marlex and Unique where on the couch playing xbox. "Latrell what did you do?" Jordyn yelled at me I didn't notice he was here they looked up when he said that. "Holy Shit..." Marlex said seeing  Maya was bleeding.  Unique ran to get some towels they put them all over the couch I layed her on them. "What the fuck happened?" Marlex asked I told him the whole story and he sighed. "Sorry we didn't believe you Latrell." I wasn't listening I went up the road yelling for help. When a girl 19 only two years old than me heard me. "Whats the problem?" She asked. "My.. Girlfriend is bleeding out!" I yelled she followed me back to the house she covered her mouth seeing how bad it was. I decided to leave the house and come back later.

    "No I totally won Stephon!" I heard Maya's voice as I shut the door behind me. Everyone looked at me I walked over to Maya and sat beside her. Stephon was still playing sleeping dogs with Unique. Maya gave Marlex the controller. I could see she had a towel around her arm. She smiled at me and then gave me a hug I gave her a hug back. "I love you so much." I said crying relived she had gotten tears all over my shirt but I didn't care. "I do to." She said she puled away she kissed me

To this day I never found out what happened to the monster...
