Spiderman

"Could you pack any slower, Wade?" I ask, rolling my eyes.

"Well, when you said you were moving to Mexico if Trump became president, I didn't think you were serious. Why do you have so much stuff?"

I snicker. "We aren't moving. And you can't travel and not take anything."

"Actually, we could. I make shit loads of cash, Baby boy. All we would need is you, me, and my credit card." There's a brief pause. "No, Petey said we can't take the swords."

"Or the knives. What would you need them for anyway?"

"There's bad guys everywhere, Spidey-kins."

I don't even look at him as I close my suitcase. "Leave the shotgun here."

He sighs. "You're no fun," he pouts.

I grin. "You didn't say that last night."

There's a pause between when he closes his suitcase and when he wraps his arms around my waist. "You're right, I didn't. And I won't say it tonight either."

I chuckle as he kisses my neck.

"How'd you get eye patch to let you off for our little trip anyway?"

"Fury has the entire Avengers. I'm sure they can handle keeping New York from blowing up for three weeks."

"Peter..." Wade gives me a really weird look. "This is Marvel we're talking about. What would the writers do if New York didn't get destroyed? It practically gets destroyed or attacked every three days."

I roll my eyes again. "Whatever, Wade. The Avengers can handle clean up. Can we just go? I'm getting anxious. I just wanna get going."

He kisses my cheek. "You can't rush our honeymoon, Baby boy."

"I'm just excited to spend three weeks with you, uninterrupted."

He giggles. "Me too. We might have to extend the trip by the way, because there's a few other places I wanna show you."

I laugh. "Well we better get started because Spiderman can't just disappear for a month. People will definitely notice."

"True. Let's get going, Baby--"

My phone starts ringing. I pick up the device and show Wade the caller ID. He throws his head back and sighs. It's Nick Fury.

"We're gonna miss our flight," I say, before answering.

"Don't worry, I know someone who owes me a huge favor."

"Yeah, Fury?" I answer.

"Tell your husband to suit up, I have a job for you two before your honeymoon."

Final Author's Note

Well, kiddies, that's all there is. Thanks so much for reading. Thanks for the comments and the votes.

It's been fun. I will likely write another Marvel fic in time. I'll keep you posted.

If I post another chapter here, it's a notice to tell you what it's called and what it's about.

Thanks again.

Love you all, and keep on reading.
