Jon Pov
I struggled getting to class with my injuries but I still took my seat in the front of the class. I got my trumpet out of my backpack and started playing the notes on are assigned piece. It was pretty simple for me to play, because I am trumpet one in my class, so I have to play the music well. And sometimes it's a disadvantage, cause most of the time I have to help other people struggling, but I guess I'm fine with that . I looked around for the teacher, and she seems to be helping a boy with his saxophone in the back already.

He was playing the low c wrong which was such an easy fix, so I decided to go back there to help him. I walked around the other people practicing their instruments and went over to him. Meeting his gaze I see him smiling and gesturing at an empty seat next to him. I blushed and turned the other way before sitting, holding my head in my hands and slightly sweating.

I knew who he was. I breathed in before I leaned over to him. "Hi I'm Evan, nice to meet you", he said with no hesitation. He smiled and a small friendly wink fallowed.

It felt like I was hit in the head...with a brick, filled with cute Asian men. Which is probably the best beating I've gotten today.

I looked back at him and responded, "Nice to meet you to. I-I'm Jon!" I stuttered. So awkward I thought, but he just chuckled at my dorkiness. I then proceeded to show him what he was playing wrong, and helped him fix his mistake. I placed my fingers on the correct keys and told him to put his fingers on top of mine, he did so and he learned quickly.

The teacher walked to the back of the room, where Evan and I were sitting and told us to play are parts accordingly. I played first, and Evan just sat their in amazement as he watched me play the notes. His brown eyes seemed to glisten as I played, he held his reed tight in his mouth as he kept firm hands on his saxophone. With out even looking at the notes I played and watched him at the same time, I watched him bite down harder on the reed, breaking it in half over my playing.

My face blushed knowing I caused him to do that, and finished the song. "Great job, Jon!", the teacher said before turning to Evan who quickly got a new reed out of his case. Evan and I made eye contact again, he started getting more and more red before holding his saxophone up to play. He got the sign from the teacher and he started playing. I watched him play each note perfectly, and every time he paused for a breath he looked at me. My face turned red and I looked down with my hands on my face as he finished the selected song. He got a good job from the teacher and bent down to look up at me who hand my face in my hands. He looked back at the teacher who was with a few other students until looking back at me. Grabbing my hands quickly in his he pulled me forward.

We were about 4 inches apart before he smiled and yelled," I passed!" in my face. I laughed with him as he wrapped his arm around me, and pulled me closer, and closer until...

The bell rang and he walked off, he still waved at me as he left to go to second period. I was stunned and not able to understand what I did to make that happen. All I knew is I should have moved my seat a long time ago. With that said I left the classroom.
