On my way to p.e I started sweating. All the things going on right now seem to be getting to me. My injuries, my new friend...yeah friend, and my detention. I went over to the p.e teacher and asked if I could sit out of today's activities. He nodded yes and I started walking over to the locker room, I must have taken a while to get there because everyone was already half way changed.

I sat my bag down and unlocked my locker ,I already know I have to throw on my p.e clothes;even if I wasn't doing anything. It was school policy to change clothes daily so I forced myself to. It hurts as I take my shirt off exposing my cuts, and when I did that everyone seemed to stare at me. I heard them mumbling and tried to ignore it. A sharp pain went through my back and I screamed in distress halfway into my shirt. I turned around to see a kid running with a pin in his hand. I sigh as I finish putting on my shirt before leaving the locker room.

With a quick jog which seemed more like a limp I went over and sat down on the benches. I watched the others play "black-top hockey", and someone in particular stood out. They played fast and seemed to have as much strength as they had persistence in moving the puck down the court. He wore a helmet and I really couldn't tell who it was, all I knew is they were good! I started to cheer for them as he scored from a left flank into the goal, he started cheering for himself and took off the helmet.

"...Evan?!?", I said out loud with a shocked expression. I saw him turn over to me and wink. I felt my face turn red again. Seriously I don't know why it keeps doing that! Like ever sense I made friends with him I've felt unsure. Like not knowing on what I'm doing or what I'm going to do next. But I must say, in a way I kind of like this feeling, still I'm not going to worry about it like all those other kids do. Because frankly, I don't have enough time to.

I looked back at Evan who in the short amount of time I wasn't paying attention, made two goals, one from a side tackle and in through the left side. And one straight down the middle caused from two of the others teams guys being in what I'd like to call "time out for jocks"

I still smiled at his victory and cupped my hands before yelling, "Wooo! Go Evan!!"

And everyone including Evan stared at me. Until someone finally broke the silence and yelled," Hey look it! It's that gay guy's boyfriend!!" My face reddened over the word "boyfriend", and I didn't know what do over that random guy yelling that. I wanted to stand up for myself and Evan but I didn't know what to say. And it seemed Evan didn't know either. So we just shared awkward glances.

Thankfully the bell rang and we walked to the p.e rooms to get changed for lunch before anything more happened.
