"So Marissa it's been a year since you moved up here have you met anyone?" Drama asked me.
"No I haven't."
"Girl yes she has his name is Nate and-"
"Kehlani!" I yelled.
"Oops I'm sorry." She said covering her mouth.
"Oooh who's Nate girl?" Rhythm asked coming out of the kitchen with a drink.
"Nothing he's just-"
"A friend." Nykkia and Javicia said at that same time.
"Girl you know you want him stop leaving him in the friend zone." Aaleeyah said.
I shook my head at all three of them. "I'm not leaving him in the friends zone I'm just not ready for a relationship." I said.
"Aww boo you whore." Drama said throwing some popcorn at me
The doorbell rung and Rhythm went to go see who it was.
"If you understood why instead of just blurting it out Aaleeyah." I said.
"Okay you guys this is my friend Amber. Amber this is my best friend Drama, her cousin Marissa, and her cousins friend from college, Kehlani....Aaleeyah, Nykkia and Javicia." Rhythm said introducing us all.
"Hi." All of us said in unison.
I looked the girl Amber up and down. I think I remember her from somewhere.
"So Amber where are you from?" Kehlani asked as she sat by me.
"New Orleans." Amber answered.
"Oh that's wassup my girl Marissa from there too. How old are you?" She asked.
"Oh my God Kehlani stop with all in questions you act like you trying still her identity or something." I said.
"I might she's a pretty girl." Kehlani said.
"Stop it you bi." Javicia said.
Everybody started laughing.
"Anyways like i was saying how old are you?"
"I'm 20." Amber said.
"Okay." Kehlani said satisfied with her answer.
Amber sat down on the couch with Rhythm.
I got up going to the kitchen with Drama on my tail.
"Why is it like all of the color off your face flushed when that girl said her name?"
"You noticed that?" I said grabbing the bottle of Peach Ciroc.
"Yeah I did duh? Do you know her from New Orleans?"
"Yeah I think maybe it's probably a different Amber but you know my ex Lucas I told you about?"
She nodded her head in agreement.
"I think that's his girlfriend Amber."
"Noooooo." She said before taking a sip of her drink.
I grabbed the cranberry juice mixing it with my drink before taking a sip.
I swallowed it. "Yessssss." I mocked.
"He left you for her-"
"No we broke up way before he got with her it's just I know her and she must remember me." I said.
"Well that's Rhythm's friend or whatever not mine they met in Wal-Mart or whatever I truly don't care." Drama said.
