CHAPTER 24: THOUGHTS

Rohit and Anita see that Manik & Nandini's head are on the table and both are holding their stomach coz today they eat a little more than daily.

N: I cant walk Ani

M: me too

Ro: to kisne bola tha itna khane ko

M: Arre yr ab kha liya na

Ani: Nandu stand up

N: No I cant

Ani: I said stand up right now

Nandini stand up holding her stomach but Manik was not even moving a little from his place, so Rohit hold him by his shoulder and take him to the car and make him sit on the back seat same goes with Anita she make Nandini sit on the back seat and she herself sit on the passenger seat as Rohit was on the driver seat. The driving off to hotel went silent as Manik was looking outside, Anita was humming a song and after 10min Manik felt some weight on her shoulder. The scenerio make him smile, as Nandini was sleeping keeping her head on his shoulder. Manik was adoring her features her long thick lashes with little curl in them, her very regular and prominent nose, her tiny cut chin and her pink pouty lips, but some frones are appearing on her face as her hair strands are disturbing her sleep.

Manik very lightly traced his long fingers on her face, as he touch her he feel a shrink in her body seeing his effect in sleep to he made a small chuckle with smile. He very gently tucked those hair strands behind her ear . Manik adore her face for few more minutes and with a light smile on his lips he close his eyes and put his head back on the seat.

After15min Rohit stop the car in front of hotel and shake Manik.

Ro: Manik uth hotel aa gya

M: haa

Rohit was about to shake Nandini but Manik hold his hand and indicate a no to him.

Ro: what

M: Maat uthye usse nind lag gye h usse

Ro: to phir vo room me kese jayegi

M: I will take her to the room, Anita if u don't mind

An: I don't have any problem

M: But her room key

An: that is with me, lets go

Manik pick up Nandini in bridal style and take her to the room, whole way he is just watching Nandini who is sleeping in his arms. Anita was moving a little forward indicating Manik the direction of Nandini room. As they reach Anita turn, she see that Manik was holding Nandini protectively and looking at her intensly...

An: Manik we reached

M: hmm.ya

Anita open the door, Manik make her lay down on the bed, remove her sandel and tuck her in the bed properly. Anita smile seeing Manik concern for Nandini. After tucking her Manik one more time look at her with smile..

M (turn and said): R u staying with Nandini

Ani: Ya it is not safe to let her sleep with open door

M: ok gud Night

An: Gud Night Manik 

Manik came to his room, but he was continously smiling in his thoughts. He change hid dress and lay down on the bed still lost in his thoughts.

MANIK POV (self talk)

Only 20 hours, bas 20hours phele mila hu me Nandini se. Or ye itni different feeling. Like I know her from a long time, Never have I ever admire a girl in this way, but Nandini is different, I have different feeling for her, or may I say I am getting attracted towards her. She is beautiful, pretty , cute all at the same time. Manik, Manik control urself, kitna janta h tu usko jo tu uski itni tareef kar rha h . Manik u don't know anything about her. That's exactly what I am saying I don't know her but I want to know her. I want to know, I want to understand that pretty , innocent girl, that's y I became her frnd.

My mind and my heart is on fight over the topic. I look at my hands and my arms in which I hold her half hour back. How perfectly she fits in my arms, how cutely she sleep with little pouty lips. It feel like that pretty figure is made for my arms.What are u saying Manik? Made for ur arms, r u insane or what? Little bit I know she is making me go insane. In the trial room, when I touch her white and bare skin, she shivered under my touch, I see a different effect on her of my touch, she lightly close her eyes like she is feeling my touch. I don't know why but my heart smile on seeing my slight touch effect on her. I never get this kind of feeling towards anyone. Manik now u are thinking too much. So sleep ok sleep gud night.

NEW MORNING

NANDINI ROOM (Nandini POV)

I wake up hearing Ani shout on me. She is continously shouting and ranting on me . I don't know why she is shouting.

N: Ani plz chup ho ja, mjhe sone de

Ani: Nandu uth ja tu ab thik h

N: sone de na

Ani: Nhi sone dungi, 2 ghante baad puja h or pichle ek ghante se me tjhe utha rhi hu or ab tu nhi uthi na to me pani daal dungi

N: nhiii...uth rhi hu me pani maat dalna

I rub my eyes lightly and see that Ani is looking beautiful in orange color saari with golden work over it, she is wearing her ear rings, She is looking damm pretty. As she was engrossed in her make up and jewellery, with slow move I stand behind her go near her her ear, Pinch her bare waist and shout in her ear:

N (while pinching): Phataka

Ani: Aaaauuu... Nandu ki bacchi ruk tu

I show my tongue to her and ran inside the washroom. After 10 min I heard Ani voice

Ani: Nandu Mom bula rhi h me ja rhi hu, tu aa jana

N (from washroom): ok

I quickly take a bath, apply minimum make up, light pink lipstick, mascara ,linear and kajal. Here I am ready in my attire, I see my reflection in the mirror and I said to myself, I am looking pretty and twirl around, but one thing is missing bangles. I search my bangles packet but found it nowhere, may be it is with Manik things, he must be sleeping I will take it later. With a final touch up I put my high heels and out of room.

I was helping aunty for collecting pooja material, I was continously runnig from one palce to other.

Aunty: Nandu vo flowers ki plate le aana

After my mom, she is like a mother to me, very sweet,kind and all the time bubbly and innocent.

N: jee aunty

I was bringing that flower plate when someone pinch me on my waist tightly and whisper in my ear:

Ani( while pinching): Phataka

I turn to look at her, she is giving me evil smrik but I look beyond her, there Manik was standing and looking at me intensly and my breathe stop right there...
