We're going to need a couple more members before we get to this shopping mall. I had been around other neighbourhoods and two people intrigued me; one went by the name of Wildcat, and his familiar was, well- a wildcat; the other went by the name of Nogla and had a lobster for a familiar.

I mentioned them, and the others agreed that they would be worthy members of The Vanoss Crew. One day, Lui would be able to join; but today was not that day.

"What's our plan on getting them to join?" Moo asks, which causes Basically, Ohm and McQuaid to look over.

"I'd say we just ask. Nogla's a loner, and Wildcat may have one person he knows, so they wouldn't be breaking many ties with people," I say, and I get nods.

"We'll get Wildcat on the way to the mall, but Nogla is in the opposite direction so we'll get him first. That sound okay?" Moo stated. I was proud with what I had helped him to achieve. Usually he lacked confidence, but his status helped greatly.

"Sounds like a plan."

"So why do you want this guy again? He looks lazy as all hell," Basically mutters under his breath, staring at Nogla from his hiding place.

Basically was right; Nogla was lazy. But he had strengths in other ways that I had seen; healing and cooking. We didn't need just fighters in the Vanoss Crew.

"You'll see," I whisper as I walk out to him. The others follow slowly behind at a distance. Nogla looks surprised to see the party of five, but doesn't run.

"Yes?" He asks.

"Alright. I'm going to put this simply; we'd like you to join our team."

"Why do you want me specifically?"

"I've seen the way you heal; the way you cook."

Nogla nodded. "Very well. I'd be safer in a group, anyway."

Nogla introduced himself as Daithi De Nogla, but said we could continue with his nickname. He was a very easygoing guy, and he taught us basic medical and cooking knowledge for a time when we might not have him. Moo seemed a lot more interested in these classes than the others and learnt more.

None of us wanted to learn the cooking skills and left it to him, which Nogla grumbled about, though he still managed to swindle McQuaid into it. McQuaid actually approached me and asked me to call him Bryce.

Nogla was easily accepted into our crew unlike the others. Now we just had to get Wildcat to join us.

As we planned, Basically's familiar chased Bryce's and Bryce's familiar chased Ohm's. My own familiar stared at the chase from my shoulder, whilst Moo's just stood next to him lazily. Nogla joined in our conversation with what he knew.

"I know Wildcat has one ally in all this, and I'm pretty sure it's a guy called MiniLadd, or Mini," He contributed in a heavy Irish accent.

"Do you know Mini's familiar? We might see if he's good enough to join, and if he is, we'll have another member," I say, Moo nodding beside me.

"I'm pretty sure it's a dog, kind of like Basically's. Though a distinct breed, I just can't quite remember..." Nogla trailed off into thought, and I cut in.

"It doesn't really matter the breed," I mutter. "Let's go get them to join us."

Hey guys! I uploaded the other chapters all at once as a test to see if people were interested in the story and there's a few reads so I thought I'd continue. This book doesn't really have main priority but I wanted to try out writing about other characters.
