Why did those men do that to me? I'm sure one day because of what they've done, their people will chase me down; torture me, kill me.

I was scared. No, scrap that- I was terrified.

Miniladd and Wildcat were good friends by the looks. Nogla had been right about Mini's familiar; it was a brown Labrador. Wildcat's familiar was a wildcat but we hadn't known what; now we could see it was a white tiger. Both were handy familiars to have on the team, I just hope Ohm's familiar doesn't get harassed that much.

Mini spotted us first, and warned Wildcat. We came slowly, surely. I stood in front with Moo directly beside me. Basically and Ohm were close at hand, whilst Bryce and Nogla loitered at the back.

"Hello, Wildcat and MiniLadd. I'm Vanoss," I introduced. "This is Moo, Basically, McQuaid, Ohm and Nogla," I introduce, pointing to each crew member individually. "We are The Vanoss Crew."

"Hello Vanoss. Am I right in assuming you want us to join you?" MiniLadd asked.

"You would be correct."

"What if we don't?" Wildcat asked with scorn.

I raise an eyebrow and signal for the others to reveal their weapons. Wildcat pipes down.

"Alright, I suppose it's safer in groups anyway. Am I right in assuming you have a healer?" Wildcat asks.

"Yes, our healer is Nogla," I state simply.

"I'll join as well," Mini says timidly. It's actually quite surprising how different Mini and Wildcat are from each other, yet they're inseparable.

As I was walking, I heard Moo talking to Mini about his familiar.

"I like your familiar."

"Thanks man, your cow is pretty cool too."

"Moona is her name, admittedly."

"I named mine Mini Labb, I think you're fine."

Moo was good to have as a second in command, he balanced out our personalities well. I tended to make brash and bold decisions, whilst Moo was more mellow. He was also a good guy to introduce newbies to our group.

I was happy with everyone I had handpicked, and even the people that had come along as extras like Bryce and Mini. Originally, I was going to kill Moo. I only got him for an ally that might come in handy, but now he's helping out more than I thought he would; I even trust him over the others.

We were now a group of seven and still growing strong. Once we get ten members I think we'll head down to the mall for Delirious. I told everyone that was in on the mall plan this, and they nodded.

"Moo. Can you get me a new member for this crew? I'm going to trust your judgement with who you pick," I commanded.

An hour later, Moo returns with a guy wearing only underwear and a panda hat riding on a panda.

"Hi! I'm BigJigglyPanda!"

Great. This is why I'm always the one that chooses who joins.
