Okay, so I've just been thinking, imagine a timelord baby for some reason being left on earth (before the time war when there were heaps of Timelords still out there), now, if this baby was adopted at an early age and protected by their adoptive parents - as they should be - in such a sheltered reality, they may never find out they are, in fact, a timelord, a different species all together, as they would never regenerate, and never have to use any sort of timelord technology.
I am attempting to write a fanfiction of this... shameless self promoting. just warning you.
