{A/N; Hi guys! Starting from this chapter, the chapters will be longer than the previous ones to bear with me :D}

=> When Neko is sound asleep, Konoki came into the room because Kazaki had told him about her fever. He sit at the edge of the bed and stare at the sleeping Neko. For some reason, his heart aches when he looks at her and he is clueless as to why it does but he manage to withstand the pain and pat her head. 

Konoki : Sometimes I wonder if I'm capable enough to keep you safe. It scares me to think I might lose you one day. It frightens me even more to think that you might be the one to push me away. Am I thinking too much? Tell me Neko.... am I a burden to you?

=> Tick tock goes the clock and no reply was given. He simply and got off the bed almost walking away when suddenly Neko decided to speak.

Neko : You're not a burden....

Konoki : *Turn around* you weren't sleeping?

Neko : *shake head* I heard everything you said.

=> She lift herself up and gently adjust herself sitting on the bed because of her  fever. It worries Konoki even more.

Konoki : You should be lying down..

Neko : *Staring*

Konoki : Neko?

Neko : Please stop being so nice to me...

Konoki : What's with that all of a sudden?

Neko : I hate it when you're nice to me. I hate it even more when you make me think I have hope!

Konoki : Neko, what's wrong with you?

Neko : For 5 years, I had never looked at anyone but you.... I had never opened up my heart to anyone but you, Kono chan. I thought that... even though you didn't know how I feel or show the slightest concern, just being by your side was enough. Even though I decided on that.... seeing you hugging another girl.... I can't take it. My heart just can't handle it.

=> Konoki is surprise to hear all this sudden confession especially from Neko whom he have known for years.

Konoki : By hugging... do you mean Kanashiku san?

Neko : *Laugh* Even hearing you say her name aches my heart.

Konoki : Kanashiku san and I are just friends. There's nothing going on betw-

Neko : Really? Are you sure about that? Because from the way I see it, it's not "nothing". You don't have to lie to me just because I have feelings for you. I hate it when you take pity on me...

Konoki : *Tightens fist* I'm not taking pity on you nor am I taking advantage of your feelings. I don't know what nonsense got into your head thinking Kanashiku san and I like each other, but believe me when I said nothing is going on between us.

Neko : ....... I dont trust you.

=> Hearing she doesn't trust him, hurt him a lot. Something in him just triggered.

Konoki : Then don't trust me. I don't know what the hell is wrong with you but you're acting like a spoiled brat.

Neko : *Upset* maybe it's because I AM a spoiled brat!
