"(Y/N)!!!" I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard Hana's loud voice, followed by the slamming of my room door. I turned around and saw Hana, Lena and Lucio standing there with panicked eyes and panting.

"(Y/n)! What is this about you leaving the team?! It isn't true, is it? Please tell me it isn't!" Hana pleaded.

"Well, it's true I'm leaving the recon team." I heard the trio gasp. "But I'm not leaving Overwatch. I'm just going over to the medical team with Mercy. I do have some medical experience so I should be able to help out." I explained while packing my things.

"But that doesn't make sense. Why now all of a sudden? I thought you liked being part of the recon team." Lucio mentioned. I gripped my shirt but sighed.

"Well, things weren't really going well. I thought I would just take a breather and step down for a while." The three looked at me, not really believing my excuse but decided to accept it since they knew they wouldn't get much more from me.

"Well at least your not leaving Overwatch love. But simulations and missions wouldn't be the same without you." Lena said with a frown.

"Don't worry. You can still see me in the medical Bay. Hopefully just to visit and because of an injury." We shared a chuckle at my comment. The four of us chatted for an hour or so before they said their goodbyes and left me to finish packing.

For some reason, my body felt heavier every time I placed something inside the luggage. Was this the best decision to make? Leave Overwatch, just because of a small disagreement... I'm just making myself look weak.

I shook my head and continued packing. No, I know if I continue as I am now, I'm just going to be a bother to the team. I'll hold back the team, especially if I'm with him. I just need a breather, to get these thoughts away from my head. Maybe, when I'm ready, I'll come back. Maybe then I'll be able to stand up against him.

I heard a knock on my door and turned to see Mercy standing there with a motherly smile. She let herself in and helped me grab some of my things from the desk.

"When I heard I was getting a new apprentice, I wasn't expecting it to be you. But of course I'm not saying that in a bad way." She said and placed the things on my bed.

"Sorry for the sudden change Mercy. It's just that..."

"I know. Soldier 76 can be quite harsh at times like this. But that's only because he wants to make sure nothing happens to Overwatch."

"Well he has a unique way of showing it." I sarcastically muttered. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see Mercy's soft smile.

"I know it's hard but just give him a chance, once you're ready of course. He may not look like it but he does care deeply for all the soldiers here, even more than anyone would know." I pursed my lips and looked down at my suitcase. "But anyways, I know you'll need some time. And working in the infirmary may be a good experience for you. I'll make sure it is."

"Thanks." I mumbled and smiled at her. She smiled back and walked out of the room. I turned back and closed the last of my luggages. Well, no turning back now. Like Mercy said, might as well make the best use out of this.

So why do I feel like I'm leaving something precious behind.
