28. Complex Emotions

Fixated on the things that makes me feel
Love, anger, pain, on equal levels
Tired of being hollow and freezing cold
Anything intense is wanted and revelled

In love, I cherish all that we had
The cliché thing I usually always hated
A bit too shy to admit I've fallen for you
But I can't believe we'll ever be parted

The anger lit a fire inside of me
Seeing you with another stoked the flame of hate
This girl who was the perfect little wife
A polar opposite of I, who you used to date

In pain, I'm in smithereens
Broken, torn apart amd melting on the floor
The fire burned out and I'm left in the cold
Ever since you ran from the door
