Hidan's Gift

Kira was currently sitting on a pile of dead bodies, her tail swishing behind her. Currently Lord Jashin was looking Hidan and her over.
"I seem to have caught you two in a compromising position." The man grinned, his fangs flashing.
Hidan jumped to his feet,"How do I know your the real Jashin!?" He snarled at the demonic man.
Kira flinched slightly and sighed, standing up as she pulled Hidan's cloak closer around her blood soaked body.
Gently, she touched Hidan on the shoulder, instantly calming him down.
He looked down at her, and seeing the concern in her eyes, he gently rubbed her ears.
"Don't worry, I'll protect us."
Hidan declared, gripping his scythe closer to himself.
Kira shook her head gently at the man, and turned to Jashin.
"Now...Kira, is it? You have finished your quest, time for you to come back home." Kira gasped, and gently touched her abdomen. Hidan looked between the two confused, then seeing the panicked look she was giving him, he stepped in front of her.

"Your not tasking her." He growled, his violet eyes flashing dangerously.
Jashin looked Hidan over, a grin beginning to spread across his face.
"You step between your Lord and a woman. Do you wish to become a sacrifice?" His once sultry voice, was suddenly felled with poisonous intent, and was like acid against Hidan's skin and ears.
Even so, he did not move, and instead snarled at the other man.

"I will die before I let you take her from me." Hidan glared at the others man, and Kira suddenly stepped forward grabbing his free hand, as she stared at Jashin in defiance.
His red eyes slowly looked the two over,"Are you sure...Kira?" He purred out.
When she gave a firm nod, Jashin instantly relaxed.
"You will have no other choices then. Even if he does not agree, and doesn't come." Jashin looked at the girl,"Again, do you wish for him to be your choice?"
"What the Hell are you going on about??" Hidan growled, but the two others ignored him. She gave another firm nod, and Jashin grinned.
"Hidan, I'll ask this once, and you have a limited time to answer. So, answer quickly and precisely." Jashin interrupted Hidan's tirade as he looked the two over.
Hidan looked at him, and the uncertain looking Kira,"What question?" He wonders aloud.
"Will you take my daughters hand in marriage?" Jashin asked, and suddenly it seemed as if Kira's body blurred out. Hidan looked down at her to see a completely different woman then the one he is used to.

She was nibbling on her finger in uncertainty, and her tail flickered behind her in fear.
"Kira?" He wondered, his head tilted as he looked her over.
She blushed gently, then slowly took his hand,"My name is actually Athanasia. Known as Jashin's daughter, and daughter to a Hisa-me who annoyed my father one day."
Hidan stared at Kira- no, no he stared at Athanasia, his eyes taking in the horns and ears perched upon her head. The short black hair that was blowing gently in the wind, then they took in her blood red eyes. He relaxed as he looked into her eyes, they were the same ones he had seen when they were making love. Slowly he stepped forward,"You talk?"
He asked, his voice gentle, and Athanasia smiled slightly at the question.
"It was apart of my father and I's deal. In exchange for getting to meet you, I could not speak until the question has been asked. Which it has." Jashin gave a nod of affirmation to Hidan, and watched the two look each other over.
"So, I'm being asked to become your Husband?"
"We use the term soulmate, but yes husband works too. However, once bound there is no turning back. We will be together until we tire of life, and desire to fade away." She began to play with her hair self consciously, when suddenly Hidan rubbed one of her horns.
Athanasia gasped, and looked up at him with wide eyes.
Hidan stopped and looked at her now red, face and gave her a gentle smile.
"What is it?"
"You touched my horn..."she whispered.
Jashin decided now was a good time to jump in,"Only those betrothed get the luxury of touching horns."
Hidan looked between the two, his cheeks slightly red.
"I didn't know that!" He all but squeaked and Jashin chuckled darkly at this.
Athanasia waved her hand,"Don't worry about it, it only surprised me. No one has touched them before." She smiled up at Hidan, and he grinned cockily down at her.

"And I'll be the only one to." He declared,"you are my Gift after all."
