Sorry for the short chapter~

Hailie stopped me before I could leave the class. "Rachel," she squeaked quietly. I looked up from my backpack with a raised eyebrow. She swallowed and spoke up, "I'm sorry."

"For?" I asked bluntly. Hailie's apology meant nothing to be. She couldn't change the past no matter how much she pitied me for it.

"Lucas and the rumors. And Celeste," Hailie looked at me like she wanted me to say something. When I didn't make a sound she added onto her apology, "And for not doing anything. I wish I did...something," her voice cracked and lip quivered.

"It's fine," I sighed and swung my backpack strap over my shoulder before walking out of the class.

Yoongi and his friends were waiting for me in the courtyard after school. I walked over to them, "Hey."

"Hi!" Taehyung smiled excitedly.

"We were wondering if you wanted to come to the arcade with us. We were already going to go after school but we think it'll be more fun if you join us," Namjoon spoke with confidence and he smirked at Yoongi as he spoke.

"Umm..." I thought, "I'm going to have to call my mom and ask." Yoongi laughs at me. "What?" I look at him confused.

"Nothing," he grinned but still giggled to himself.

I shook my head at his odd behaviour and walked away a bit to call my mother in silence. She picked up at my second call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Mom. I was wondering if I could go to the arcade with some friends."

"Rachel, it's a Wednesday. Don't you have to study for a chemistry test?"

"Mom I'm trying to have a social life," I stated bluntly. It was a funny remark but it was sadly too accurate.

After a long sigh she gave in, "Fine, be home by dinner or you'll regret it."

"I wouldn't miss your cooking for the world," I kissed her ass. Then I told her goodbye and hung up the phone.

Yoongi looked at me eagerly as I walked back to join everyone. "So?" he asked.

"She said it's fine. I just have to be home for dinner," I shrugged, but deep down I was excited. Even when close friends with Celeste we didn't ever really hangout outside of school.

"Cool. I'm driving," Seokjin announced.

We all followed Seokjin into the parking lot. In my mind, I was trying to figure out of eight of us were supposed to get to the arcade. Maybe we'll take two cars, I thought to myself.

"Wow talk about a soccer mom van," I laughed as we approached Seokjin's ride. Most of Namjoon's gang giggled at my remark and someone replied with, "Well Seokjin is mommy."

Seokjin ignored my comment and opened the car. Everyone began to cram into the car but Yoongi told his friends to stop and turned to me, "Where do you want to sit?"

"Umm...I'll get carsick if I sick in the back," I replied, hating my needy self. Yoongi nodded and let me sit behind Seokjin. We began the ride to the arcade which consisted of Kpop music blasting and Seokjin's bad jokes. I laughed at Yoongi's reaction to the jokes. He hated them.
