Loki led Lokia into a clearing and turned to her.

“This is where we’ll be training from now on. Now I want you to attack me with your mind.” Loki told her.

“How do you want me to read your mind or lift you off the ground?” Lokia asked confused.

“Ether but I’m going to make it harder by trying to counter your movements so don’t let me read your mind. Try to block it.” Loki instructed.

Lokia nodded then thought of a wall to shield him from reading her mind. Then she tried to break into his mind to see what he was going to do. When she tried she was met with his conscious who was trying to force her out. She saw him smirk as she lost her concentration and he broke into her mind. You'll have to try harder than that to beat me. He told her with his mind. Loki stopped and let her try again, after what seemed like hours Lokia finally managed to break through and take control of his mind. Is this better. She asked smugly before releasing his mind.

“Okay lets work on your telekinesis; try to move that large branch from where it is to across the clearing.” Loki challenged.

Lokia focused on the branch and thought of it being on the other side of the clearing but it didn’t move. She turned back to see if Loki was forcing the branch to stay put but saw him fly into a tree.

“I said the branch not me.” He yelled at her before teleporting back to where he had been.

“I was concentrating on the branch.” Lokia growled back stubbornly.

She tried again and the branch moved to the other side of the clearing. Then Loki had her practice using magic to create things like fire, water, ice, lightning, and wind. After she had done that he showed her how to teleport, make portals, and make fake images of herself.

“Okay I think you get it. But now you need to practice using a weapon, because magic wont always be able to help you.” Loki told her as his scepter and armor appeared.

“Fine but this is unfair, you have armor and a weapon, and I don’t have anything.” Lokia pointed out.

Loki waved his hand and pointed it at Lokia, a scepter appeared in her hand and gold, black, and purple armor appeared on her.

“There, you have armor, now if you don’t want it on anymore simply imagine your not wearing it and it will disappear, if you want it on think of it and it will appear.” Loki explained.

They trained until it started to get dark and by that time Lokia was tired and hungry. Loki said that she could stop and his armor disappeared and they walked back to where they had been earlier.

“Here’s some food, and you can sleep where ever you want as long as I can see you.” Loki told her as he sat down to eat.

Lokia ate the food and climbed a nearby tree to sleep in, the branches formed a sheltered spot that would keep her from falling and made it easy to climb. She made the branches grow together so she would have a more comfortable spot to sleep. Loki watched his new apprentice from under a nearby tree as she used her magic to get comfortable. She’s stubborn, but she’s also a fast learner. I’ll give her that.  He thought to himself before drifting off.

Kate was heading for the training center with Thor who was going to be her training partner for the day. When they got there they saw Fury standing by a wall that contained various weapons.

“Today you will choose the weapon you will learn to master to use in battle. We have selected some weapons that we think will compliment your powers that we gave you.” Fury told her.

“Can I test them out?” Kate asked as she scanned the weapon choices before her.

“Yes, then Thor will help you learn how to use it.” Fury said before walking out.

Kate walked over to the wall full of weapons and chose a bow, she shot an arrow at a target that was across the room and missed, so she returned it to its place, then she picked up a gun and shot at a target at the other side of the training center and the bullet went way off target and hit the wall, she put it down and chose a sword. She swung it around a few times to test the balance and weight.

“I think I’ll stick with the sword.” Kate said turning to Thor.

“Okay then let us start with the training then.” Thor replied cheerfully.

Thor showed her the basic sword strokes and then had her copy them. Once she had those down he showed her the advanced ones. He had her practice with a dummy then when she was good at it he spared with her. They started out on the ground but soon they were flying around as Thor sent lightning at Kate and she used her sword to block it. As they spared the avengers came in and started to cheer them on, eventually Fury heard the noise and went to see what was going on.

“Aren’t you supposed to be working everyone?” Fury yelled.

“We’re watching to see who wins.” Tony complained.

“I’m not going to let those two tear up the whole helicarrier.” Fury replied. “Kate, Thor, stop, we can see you can handle the sword so stop sparing before you destroy the training room.”

They stopped and landed back on the ground beside the group.

“Now everyone get back to work.” Fury growled as he left.

“Well I guess that’s it then, later guys.” Tony said as he went to order pizza.

“I need to get back to lab any way to see if we found them yet.” Bruce turned leaving.

“Found who?” Kate asked as she ran to catch up.

“To see if we found Loki and your friend yet. And before you ask, yes you can help if you want to.” Bruce told her.

            “Yay!” Kate yelled.

They went to the lab and Kate grabbed a bag of chips to eat while they waited for the computer to find them. After a few hours Tony came back with pizza and they ate it with cookies and soda.

“This drink it’s fizzy, what’s it called? Thor asked amazed.

“Pepsi, there’s more if your still thirsty.” Hawkeye replied.

“Well I like it.” Thor burped.

They all started to laugh and Tony and Thor started a belching contest which made Steve look at them in disgust.

“What’s wrong Spangles? Don’t like a belching contest?” Tony teased.

“I find it gross.” Steve replied as he left.

Bruce, who had been looking at the computer walked over to them. “Guys we found them, there on this place called Vanaheim.”

“That’s another realm; I’ll get Heimdall to transport us there as soon as we’re ready to go.” Thor said in a loud voice.

They all started to suit up and grab their weapons in preparation to leave.
