Chapter 21: All My Fault

Recap: "Umm I have-um I have to-to go" I quickly grab my purse and my sunglasses and run out the door as fast as I can but as soon as I open the door and see the last person I want to see right now

He looks up at me with pure anger in his eyes and walks away down the hall

"JUSTIN WAIT PLEASE" I run after him down the halls of the apartments

"JUSTIN PLEASE STOOOOP" he stops dead in his tracks before the elevator I bump in to him because of how fast he stopped

I fall completely on the floor on my butt and he didn't even help me he just stood looking at me with an expression so scary I didn't even want to talk with him anymore but I knew I needed to

I helped myself up and stood infront of him and fixed my skirt and shirt that then lowered and rose

We stood there just staring at each other for a while until he turned around and walked towards the elevator obviously tired of everything

I could see the complete hatred in his eyes and I don't blame him if that was me I would completely flip too

I catch the elevator before it closed and stepped in

"Justin can we talk please?"

I turn to him and step closer so our chests are touching

I just needed his touch right now but I knew I wasn't going to get it anytime soon

He pushed me away harder than I ever thought he would touch me and it scared me a bit

He obviously didn't want me close and I understood that but I needed to make it clear to him it meant nothing

It was getting closer to the last floor and I panicked so I pressed the lock button and the elevator stopped suddenly we both fell to the ground from the impact

Justin stood quickly and tried to get the elevator door open

"PAIGE WHAT THE HELL!!WHY DID YOU DO THAT???"

"Justin I panicked I'm sorry I need to talk to you and if I know you well enough and I think I do.. as soon as that elevator door opened I would never see you again and you and I both know we don't want that to happen"

He slowly sat back against the glass and placed his head in his hands, he started breathing super fast and he seemed off

I walked to him slowly "Umm Justin are you ok?"

He flung his head up "NO PAIGE IM NOT FUCKING OK FIRST OF ALL YOU KISSED ANOTHER FUCKIN GUY THAT HAPPENED TO BE YOUR EX AND IF YOU WOULD USE YOUR GOD DAMN BRAIN IM FUCKING CLAUSTERPHOBIC REMEMBER???" He started pacing back and forth the elevator with tears in his eyes

"OH SHIT, OMG HELP SOMEBODY HELP US QUICK PLEASE SOMEBODY" I bang on the door as loud as I can so we can get out and get Justin some help

He started getting super pale "Oh my god baby sit down, your going pale so fast, sit, sit" I guided him down to sit and he all of a sudden I hear a Big Bang and see Justin passed out on the ground with blood all over the place

"NOOO JUSTIN" I run over to him and take my jean jacket I had on and tried to put it where the blood was coming from his head

I get up quickly start banging super hard on the glass and on the door to get somebody's attention and quickly

"HELP PLEASE SOMEBODY WE NEED HELP...HEEEEEELLLLPPP" I start breaking down in tears,

"I can't handle this" I then thought to myself I can't be like this I need to find a way out, I can't just sit here like a baby I need to save us and get Justin some help

I look around and spot a vent door thing and I step on the railing in the elevator and pop the door open

I push myself through it and see that I'm onto of the elevator, I take deep breaths trying to steady myself so I don't end up passing out

I see that a few feet up is one of the doors to the elevator so I start climbing until I got to it and banged and banged and banged trying to get somebody's attention

I then heard "dude somebody is banging on that"

I start banging louder now yelling "HELP PLEASE HELP ME"

All of a sudden I hear the doors being pried open and I see two guys standing there confused

"THANK YOU SOO MUCH NOW I NEED YOUR HEP PLEASEEEEE MY BOYFRIEND IS STUCK A FLOOR DOWN ON THE ELEVATOR AND HE HIT HIS HEAD AND THERES BLOOD AND I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE"

At this point I'm a hot mess and panicking like crazy but I don't give a flying Frick because Justin is down there hurt and he needs help

We start running down the stairs to get to the lower floor and at the same time one of the guys is calling 911

"HURRY" at this point I'm sprinting as fast as I can

We finally get down to the elevator and the guys are already prying open the door while I'm standing there crying and pacing back and forth like a crazy person

I start talking to myself "Paige this is all your fault I'm sooo fricken stupid, if you didn't press that stupid button he wouldn't be hurt right-" I get interrupted with the guys running into the now open elevator carrying Justin carefully outside to where the ambulance just pulled up

I run after them "JUSTIN WAIT NOOO" they put him on a stretcher and his heart rate starts dropping and everyone is freaking out

"NO NO NO NO JUSTIN STAY WITH ME BABY STAY WITH ME"

I try taking his hand but was pushed away by paramedics and I was getting ready to hop into the ambulance when a paramedic said

"Ma'am you can't come in her you need to meet us there"

"No but he's my boyfriend I need to stay with him" I say trying to convince him

"Sorry but you can't and we need to start moving so meet us there"

I start crying even more before I start running inside to get my keys I hear the worst thing a person could ever hear about their loved ones

"HES LOOSING TOO MUCH BLOOD GET THE PADDLES WE LOST A HEARTBEAT" they get him in quickly and start off towards the hospital

my heart shatters at that point and my mind is all over the place and I can't even walk straight

I fall to my knees and start weeping, I can't hold anything in anymore

"Paige omg are you ok??" I feel someone pick me up and I look and see Grayson and he's carrying me

I snap out of my daze and I need to get to the hospital and quick

"GRAYSON WE NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL JUSTIN IS HURT AND I DONT KNOW IF-IF WE -WE ARE G-G-GONNA L-OOSE HI-"

Grayson stops me and runs quickly to the room and comes back with the keys and we sprint to the car and there are paps everywhere

"GET OUT THE FUCKING WAY BEFORE I BEAT ALL OF YOUR ASSES IM DONE WITH YOUR SHIT I NEED TO GOOOOO" I say with pure rage in my voice and face and all of them stop taking pictures and Gray looks at me with a satisfied look and jumps in the drivers seat and we take off

Grayson puts a hand on my thigh

"Hes going to be ok"

"No this is all my fault...."
