Ch 6. Wait... WHAT?!

(Zane's Point of View)
I yawn and smell muffins...? I growled, got up lazily and walked to the kitchen. "Oh hey sleeping beauty! You're finally up I thought I had to kick you out of bed!" Y/N giggled. She just just makes me melt inside. "Uhh.. what's that... what are you... ugh.." I yawned again. "What time is i- HOLY IRENE Y/N! It's 8:30 AM!!" I yelled.

"Yeah... I woke up to make food. I checked on you and you were lightly snoring. So... I let you alone to sleep you need as much rest as you can get." She said calmly. Y/N is so sweet to me she didn't have to do that. I sighed and rest my head on my left hand. I feel like crud to be honest with myself my head hurts so much suddenly.

  I growled and lie back down on the couch. "Tired aren't we..? You sure I don't need to do anything else for you Zane?~" She asked sweetly. "Well I actually-" I was cut off my a knock on the door. "Hey N/N you up?" I hear Laurence ask through the closed door. "Yeah... here let me get the door-" "I GOT IT!" I yelled jumping over the couch and opening the door to a sorta ticked off Laurence.

  "Ahem... mind me asking why you cut her off like that." His question more of a statement. "Uhh I was getting the door for her! You dumb?" I asked. Oh Irene I wish he would keep his bloody mouth shut! He is a little bit of a hothead since he is a Shadow Knight. It doesn't mean he has to take out his anger on me! "Laur I'm taking care of Zane for a while! Isn't that great?!" Y/N chirped.

  I smirked at Laur who nearly gaged. "Wait...WHAT?!" He asked obviously angry at me. "Oh, I must have forgot to tell you earlier..." Y/N said shyly. Laurence's eyes turned a dark red. "ThIs iS a WaRnInG tO yOu! YoU hUrT mY LiL sIs iN aNy wAy I'lL EnD yOu!" He snapped. "Laur! Peace! Calm Breaths... calm breaths..." Y/N said calming Laurence down a bit. "S-sorry I must have got carried away with my anger... ugh..." Laurence held his head.

  "Laurence you ok...?" I asked concern glazing my voice. "Yeah... I'm fine... just a little shaken up after that..." He said his breaths shaking. "Laur~Laur... please don't do that again ok? You know turning makes you sick..." Y/N said rubbing Laur's arm. "Ok... I won't turn again... unless it's a dire situation that it can't be helped." Laurence replied. "Good, now go home to Garroth and get some rest ok?" Y/N said and Laur walked back home.

(The Magical Time Skip)

I was startled by the phone ringing from the kitchen. "OH IRENE!!" I snapped having a slight heart attack. "I'll get it!" Y/N runs to the kitchen. "Hello? Garroth it's great to see- what's that noise...? Oh my Irene is he ok?! Oh, u-umm just give him some love for me ok? Yeah... ok Bye..." Y/N hung up with a sigh. "What was that about?" I asked.

"Laur got sick a little while ago Garroth decided to call to tell me. He said Laur was vomiting sense he got back. Poor Laur~Laur..." Y/N's expression dropped to sad and guilty. "Hey, it's not your fault you know? You told him not to turn...! He ignored you he got his karma and got sick. If anything you should give yourself credit for calming him before he fully turned!" I reassured her calmly.

"B-but once Laur gets sick he won't stop for weeks! I'm really concerned if he actually turned fully or not afterward. I hope he won't get too sick though..." Y/N started to cry. "Awe no... Please don't cry... I'm sorry if I said something wrong..." I said. She did so much for me! I can't just sit there and watch her guilt herself over something she didn't cause. I give her a half hug since I don't do hugs that much, but I wanted to comfort her somehow!

"Th-Thanks *Sniff* Your such a sweetheart ya know? If you look through all that toughness you can see a sweet Lil Cupcake!" Y/N said while gently hugging my arm. "Y-yeah no problem Y-Y/N... You were so nice to me it's only fair to give back." I spoke smoothly. She's so sweet and warm what is this feeling? It's starting to grow on me. Heh... Oh well... guess she's all mine now! *Chuckle*
