scenario eleven/ nightmares

Around three in the morning, {Name} felt a lot of movement from the other side of the bed. Kakashi would normally be snuggled close to her but he wasn't for some reason.
Quickly waking up from her sleep she sat up and turned to see Kakashi curled up in a little ball beside her. He looked as if he was sweating and a scared expression took over his features.
"Kakashi.." {Name} lightly shook his shoulder and watched him slowly wake up. "Whats wrong?" Kakashi looked so relieved to see {Name} and he immediately reached out for her. Pulling her on top of him his breathing became steady.
{Name} was slightly confused by his actions. "Did you have a nightmare?"
Silence.
"Kakashi it's okay." She began to comfort him. "You can tell me."
He started to play in her hair after a short while before finally talking. "I thought I had killed you like Rin." If possible, Kakashi pulled you closer to his chest. "I'm sorry."
It surprised {Name} to hear him talking about his past since it was such a sensitive topic.
"Don't apologize Kakashi. You know that will never happen because you're doing a great job protecting me." She reached up and kissed him on the cheek. "I'll always be here with you."
"I love you."
"I love you too, Kakashi."
