First Voicemail: Hey. I had feeling you wouldn't answer..I don't blame you. I just wanted to say sorry.
Second Voicemail: I miss you, {Name}. Do you miss me?
Third Voicemail: Please answer the phone. {Long Pause}. Please.
Fourth Voicemail: Can you at least let me know you're okay. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately. Partly because you aren't by my side when I wake up. In fact, you're not by my side at all anymore. When I'm done with my missions I come home and you're not there. Sitting in the living room, waiting for my arrival. No more welcome back kisses, or you constantly bugging me about how my day went, or- ah. ha.. I'm rambling. I think I'll go now...
Tenth Voicemail: Will you ever forgive me {Name}. Can you please just bring yourself to forgive me? Forgive and forget right? {Voice Cracks} Right? I can't do this anymore! This loneliness. I was able to overcome it ever since I was a child but with you{Sniffles}..With you gone..Its unbearable.

It's been two weeks. That's all it took before he finally couldn't take it anymore. Your phone had been buzzing for days. The amount of notifications you received from him increased especially when night time came along.
At some point you just wanted to snatch your phone from the nightstand and tell him it was okay. You never heard him so broken and vulnerable. But now it was his turn to suffer. You were just as broken when he turned his back on you that day.
You were perfectly fine now. After grieving nonstop for days, you got back on your feet. You cleaned up the place, got a job, and was back to normal soon after. You did worry about Kakashi every now and then though.
He even sent you flowers. At first you hovered them over the trash for a moment. They'd just bring back painful memories. Although they did smell nice. After debating with yourself for a while, you decided to keep them. Then he sent more the next day.
And the next day, and the next day, and the day,.........and the next day.
Until you finally called him back.
