Scenarios thirteen: you get scared

The Hidden Leaf was under attack.
Kakashi was already out doing a mission when the attack occurred. Once you heard the loud explosions and screams of terror off in the distance, you were basically running around panicking for a few minutes.
After a while of thinking, you bordered the doors and windows to make it seem like your home was abandon and maybe the intruders would run right past it. Then you turned off all the lights and ran in the bedroom.
You and Kakashi hadn't prepared for anything like this. All you knew was that Kakashi kept a kunai -a ninja weapon- under his pillow. That's the first thing you grabbed before heading into the bathroom, which consisted of no windows.
Kakashi's safety was the only thing on your mind. You worried about him everyday but today was much worse. He would leave you home all alone for hours and it scared you more than anything.
What if he never returns?
You swallowed hard. The clashing of swords and villagers calling for help only got louder.
It felt like hours. But only twenty minutes passed before Kakashi came busting down the bathroom door. His eyes were filled with so much worry that you could hardly look at him.
You were hugging your knees on the floor sobbing away in a small corner. Kakashi was instantly by your side the minute you saw him. He kissed away your tears reassuring you that everything was going to be okay. "Hey, stop crying. I'm here."
You heard his heart pounding against his rib cage when he hugged you close to his chest. Kakashi was just as scared as you were and no matter how hard he tried to stay composed, his emotions were starting to show as he melted in your arms.
"I'll always be here. I promise."
