15 years later

I let out a huff of impatience as the tape that was wrapped around the cake box refused to break free, a slight giggle that sounded behind me though seemed to warm up my heart as I spun around to see the 2 year old boy that I was in love with, my son Timothy Vance Simons.

"Well hello little man." I smiled as his chubby toddler legs waddled towards me, I scooped him up and planted a kiss on his brown curly hair "What are you doing?"

"Daddy and Ellie are with the horses." He said grumpily "I wanna go!"

I laughed as I looked out the kitchen window which other then my bedroom window had an amazing view of the valley and horse barn. Sure enough out in the feild I saw my 6 year old daughter Ellie Anna Simons and my husband out with the horses, our horses.

We had been married 10 years today and everyday seemed like the first, we had never drifted apart ever since that day in New York and we had never had a fight. We got married when Drew got out of University and we had been a picture perfect couple ever since and what was best? We had money. Drew was a sports agent meaning he worked from home although made trips into New York occasionally and I was a writer a journalist for the New Yorker, I worked from home most of the time we were perfect and what was the best.... we haad all stayed in touch with our high school friends.

My sister and Leo had gotten married and were one month away from welcoming their twins, Trey was a big time Football coach, Travis was in Turkey as an archaelogist, Jade was happily married to her husband Gabe with 2 boys Trevor and Xavier and Logan--Logan was going through a divorce with his wife Cleo.

That's right Jade and Logan didn't work out, they tried long distance for a year until Jade ended it, she was happy.... being the editor of Cosmo but her marriage was hard, Gabe wasn't a gentleman like Logan was but Jade was to proud to end things and doesn't want Xavier and Trevor to go through what she had gone through, a divorce.

All in all though our life was perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better one.

"Hey beautiful." Drew's voice rang in my ear after I set Timothy back down. I smiled as I spun around.

"Hi.... were you going to take Ellie for a ride?"

He shrugged his shoulders innocently "Maybe..."

"Listen... I have to talk to you." I said nervously "You may need to sit down for this."

He raised a curious eyebrow but obeyed and moved to the island counter stools and plopped down on one "What's up."

"Babe." I sighed "I-I'm pregant again."

There was one terrifing moment of silence before Drew let out one loud cheer as he jumped up and grabbed me swinging me around in truimph. "When did you find out?" He asked.

I smiled from ear to ear "This morning.... perfect wedding aniversary huh?"

He laughed as our 6 year old daughter Ellie ran into the room smiling too "I'm having another brother or sister?" She asked happily.

I laughed and nodded my head as Drew scooped her up and Timothy waddled back into room and into my arms "Picture perfect family right here." I said laughing as we came in for one of our infamous group hugs.

I looked up to meet Drew's eyes as he leaned in and our lips met as the sparks and fireworks erupted like every time we touched. We were perfect, I loved him I loved him so much and to think.... I was the good girl and he was the bad boy.

I had fallen for the bad boy and I didn't regret it one bit.
