"So let me get this straight." Drew said as I stared at the waves in front of us "I set you on a date and you end up with the host?"

I nodded as I slipped on my heart shades "Yup pretty much, we're going out in like an hour." I looked at Drew for a split second then back out to the waves "Do you want me to set you up? I know a few girls and I have a cousin who's your age."

Drew shook his head though "Naw I'm okay...."

"Drew." I sighed sitting up "I feel bad having my ex boyfriend set me up on dates helping me get a new boyfriend when I'm not helping him.... it makes me feel bad."

"Why?" He asked "Your happy right? That's all I care about."

"Are you still not over me?" I sighed "Because Drew.... I really think it's time to move on."

Drew turned his head to me and shook his head "I will get over you Chloe, after all I'm moving to college in a few weeks I'm sure I'll find someone there but for now.... my only focus is making sure you're happy."

"Well I am happy." I said smiling "Hell I was happy when I was single... I'm happy as long as your in my life Drew, you were my first love after all.... I'm never gonna be able to forget about that and the fact that we're still friends is amazing, I'm so happy about that."

Drew raised an eyebrow curiously "Really?"

I nodded "Of course, hey have you ever heard back from Jade and Logan?"

"Oh um yeah." Drew said lowering his head awkwardly "Can I tell you a secret?"

I nodded "Yeah sure..."

"Logans thinking of proposing." I stared at him with wide eyes as my stomach dropped.

"Wha-what! They're way to young!"

Drew nodded rolling his eyes "I know but you know how Jade's mom has Gypsy blood in her?"

"Yeah...."

"Well Gypsy's should get married yet and since Logan's 18 it's legal for both of them"

"But why?" I demanded "I mean they've only been dating like.... 2 months."

Drew sighed shaking his head "Logan thinks Jade's gonna break up with him at the end of summer because of the distance so he thinks that if he proposes then that'll save them."

"Oh god." I said burying my face in my hands "That's so messed up."

Drew chuckled "Yeah really, but hey at least Leo and Liz are saved."

I smiled nodding my head "Yeah.... that's true, they're so perfect for eachother."

"Yeah they are.... so tell me, after you stormed out on Marcus what happened?"

I rolled my eyes but explained my date with Alec the host "He got off a half hour later so we wandered around the town for hours after that until midnight now that I think about it and we talked about anything and everything really and he explained to me that he goes to the Culinary School like an hour away from here and he's about to go into his second year... he was really cool and--and he kissed me." I said my lips curling into a smile "It was passionate and it felt so.... so right."

Drew nodded grinning "That's great Chloe.... I'm happy for you."

"I'm glad Drew, I really hope you find that girl that's right for you."

Drew's POV

"I already have." My mind whispered back to me as I stared into her gorgeous green eyes and I knew that I really had... I wouldn't find any other girl that I was more in love with then Chloe, I was so in love that for once I was thinking about her. I wanted her to be happy, even if that meant she would never be mine again.

"Hey Chloe!" A voice called from behind us, Chloe and I both turned around to see a guy well built with curly dirty blonde hair and scruff on his chin.... I knew immediatly that this guy was Alec the host.

"Oh hey Alec!" Chloe smiled standing up "I thought you weren't coming for another hour."

Alec shrugged as he came and hugged her "Couldn't wait." He turned to me and eyed me up and down with his eyes in a slight glare.

"Hey man." I said standing up to shake his hand "I'm Drew, I'm one of Chloe's friends."

He nodded "Alec, Chloe's boyfriend." Chloe snapped her head to look at him in shock and I knew he hadn't run it by her yet... Alright I didn't like this guy, he should've asked for Chloe to be his girlfriend like I did. "Alright well we better go, you ready Princess?"

I saw Chloe's jaw tighten for a split second before staring at me then back at Alec and nodded. "Yeah let's go, see you Drew I'll text you or call tonight."

I nodded waving goodbye.

Chloe's POV

"So" I said as we got into Alec's car "I'm your girlfriend huh? That was a surprise?"

"Sorry about that." Alec chuckled as he started the car "Just thought it's best if he thinks we're together like that, so he doesn't make a move on you."

"oh no, Drew wouldn't do that." I said shaking my head "He's not like that."

"With the way he looked at you.... yeah he would he clearly likes you."

I sighed "I know that.... and he doesn't like me he loves." Alec snapped his head towards me.

"WHAT!"

"Relax Alec." I said sternly "Jealousy doesn't suit anyone... we used to date alright? We broke up about 2 months ago over a big misunderstanding and now we're just friends."

"Why the hell--"

"ALEC!" I screamed pointing to the window where he wasn't looking at the car headlights that were heading right at us....

OMG car accident!
