Arynn trotted into a little cottage with Alex, once she entered Micayla looked over from the kitchen where she was making food. “Arynn?” She called.
Arynn waved to her and plopped down on the couch, leaving Alex standing by the table. Micayla quickly noticed Alex and ran over to him.
“Alex!” She said.
Alex turned towards the voice in disbelief. “Micayla? You’re alive?” He questioned.
Micayla grabbed his hand and pulled him into the kitchen to speak. “Of course I’m alive! How are your eyes?” She asked.
Alex flinched away from her. “How did you know about my eyes?” He questioned. He suddenly began to piece things together. Micayla is alive. The warning letter send to Sasha had the initials of MS. Micayla Surenly. Micayla sent Arynn to take his eyes. This was Micayla’s fault.
Micayla tensed. “Uh…Uh.” She stuttered.
“You’re the reason I’m blind!” Alex shouted.
Micayla gulped and shook her head. “I-I..I never meant for you to lose your sight! It was only supposed to be a warning!” She protested, reaching her hand out to grip his.
He yelped and flinched away again, putting his hands over his eyes as he saw a flash of white.
He’s a monster Alex! SASHA IS A MONSTER!
Once his vision returned to black he stared directly at Micayla with unfocused eyes. “You’re still the monster.” He stated coldly.
Micayla sniffed and stepped away, running down the hallway.
After a few moments Arynn came up and wrapped her arms around Alex, making him gasp in slight surprise.
Arynn turned him around to face her and stepped on her tippy toes to kiss him.
It reminded him of Sasha. He saw that day clearly still, when he and Sasha first kissed, made out even. He loved it. But he could never feel that again, because with Arynn it’s not the same and with Sasha it’s numb forever.
