"Parents day is coming up!! That means the next day is coronation day!!" Lonnie exclaimed.

I swear, ever since she got that stupid yet beautiful hair, she's acting all girly and stuff. It's honestly making me want to vomit.

"And why am I supposed to be excited?" I asked. Lonnie put her hands on her lips and pouted. Ok, I actually threw up in my mouth.

"Come on, Bree. This is your brother. After five years, you'll be queen and have us bow to your command." Lonnie laughed.

I chuckled and smiled. "Yeah, I guess you're true." I shrugged.

"Hey, don't you have that date with the Da Vil kid?" Lonnie asked. I popped up and ran to my closet. How could I forget?!

"Holy crap, I totally forgot. And no Lon, it's not a date." I said matter of factly while rummaging through my closet.

"Whatever you say, Bree. But hey, text me how it went when you're done. Toodles." she said and hurried out.

I rolled my eyes and threw dozens of clothes around my room. Finally, I found the perfect outfit.

I slipped it on and looked in the mirror. My hair could stay the same, a simple ballet bun, and my makeup looked natural and not over the top.

I grabbed my phone and headed out the door to Carlos and Jays dorm. I felt my knees go weak but I shook this off.

I knocked on the wooden door to be greeted by Jay. A smirk plastered on his face. "Hey cutie." he said.

I pushed his arm from its place from the door. He almost fell over but quickly caught himself.

"Shut up, Jay. Where's Carlos?" I asked and peeked into their messy room.

"He went to the Enchanted Lake, I think. I'm not sure. I think that's what he said though." Jay said with a shrug.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Thanks for the help Jay!" I said sarcastically and walked away. I heard him chuckle before he slammed the door shut.

I made my way to the Enchanted Lake, only to be stopped by the one and only, Chad Charming.

"Hey Brea. You look good." Chad smirked and licked his lips.

"Shut up Chad. I don't want you." I sighed with an eye roll. Chad was your typical player. I hate to admit but I actually dated him my freshman year.

"Everyone wants me, dear." he said and inched closer to me. I shoved him away and walked past him.

"Everyone but me, dear." I replied and walked away. He huffed and I heard him walk away.

When I arrived at the Enchanted Lake, the smell of roses filled my nose. I walked over to a bush and touched one with my finger.

I got up and walked over to the old gazebo that overlooked the lake. Ben and I were brought here by our parents to have a picnic. Ben and I immediately fell in love with the place.

I saw Carlos putting down a blanket and a basket. He looked up and his eyes widened. "You're not supposed to be here!"

I laughed. "Jay told me you were here. I decided to come over. I didn't know you were going to do...this." I said and pointed to all the food.

"Do you like it?" he asked, his eyes hopeful. I smiled sweetly.

"Of course. I especially love the jelly donuts. How'd you know they were my favorite?" I asked.
