I woke up to the sound of hard banging on my bedroom door. Guessing it was my dad sense we were the only ones living here.

"Come in." I answered. My dad walked in my room and sat on my favorite chair my mom bought me when i was little. I have'nt talked to my mom in a while, and I still need to discuss with her about moving to London.

"Hey, you should get packing. I've looked at your letter and it says school starts back up August 21st."

I clicked the home button on my phone to see what the date was. It's already the 15th.

"Dad I have five days to pack everything up and to find an apartment, plus I still need to say goodbye to everyone."

"Don't worry, I've contacted the school and told them that you have accepted the offer.", he said.

"Don't you think you've should of checked with me first or at least mom?", I asked

"Your mother and I talked earlier this morning and she has finally agreed to letting you go."

There is something wrong about this picture, knowing my mom she won't even let me leave out of town without a guardian.

"Dad, i'm going to be in a whole different country without any relatives or any friends. How am I supposed to buy anything wothout any money." I asked. Hearing my thoughts and talking to my dad, this is starting to be a pretty sccary idea.

"I've been thinking about that and i've decided to give you the $25,000. You need it much more than I do."

I'm in complete and total shock that my dad is giving me $25,000 dollars. I would've never thought he would trust me with a huge amount of money.

"No dad i can't. You were so excited for the money and -"

"I did not earn this money, you did. I haven't really had time to tell you this but I'm so proud of you.", he confesed.

I'm a pretty emotional person so when my dad told me this my eyes were tearing up. Growing up, my dad was hardly home because of his job. I used to have a nanny who I miss dearly. We didn't need her anymore after I turned fifteen. After we let her go, she went back to her hometown which was also in London. My dad worked for this buisness that was pretty big in Malibu. He was a clothing designer and head of his office. Yeah not going to lie it was a little weird having a dad whose fashion sense was way better than yours.

After what my dad had said, I got up to hug him. I know this sounds weird but I haven't hugged him in a while. I miss this feeling of bliss I used to get while hugging my dad, it makes me feel happy.

"Now don't think you're just going to keep all this money in your pocket and carry it around everywhere, we're putting it in a bank."

I knew he was going to say that, but I agree with him about putting it in a bank, it's too risky not too.

"Oh yeah, and your mom and I have decided to hire your old nanny Mrs.Grace agian.", my dad said heading towards the door.

"Wait what? Why?", I asked. Don't get me wrong I love Mrs. Grace to death but I don't need a babysitter looking after me when I'm practicly an adult.

"Yeah. You didn't think you were going to be wondering around London alone did you? Don't forget you're still a teenager." he said as he shut my door.

I really don't know what to think about this whole nanny situation. As I pressed the belly button on my phone I noticed three new text messages. One from Ashley, one from Katie, and one from Emily. I'm leaving in five days and i haven't told them anything about it. I sent a group text to all of them telling them to meet me at the coffee shop down the road.
