When we arrived to the London airport, after my mom and I grabed our bags we were headed towards our rental car. My mom had ordered a rental car the day before we left. Her plan before we landed was to drive to the school, go to my dorm, and go to the college library to get my school books. As we drove, my mom put in the adress of the school into the GPS. I couldn't help to notice the beautiful city. I've heard some people from my school talk about how they've been to London. A few of them said it was small, some of them said it was really big, but all of them said it was amazing.
"Are you excited?", my mom asked, breaking me out of my train of thought.
"Yeah, a little nervous but excited.", I said with a small smile.
"Honey, you're terrified."
"What?", I asked.
"You're my daughter. You think i've known you long enough to tell when you're lying.", she said with a laugh. My mom is right, I'm a terrible liar. No one has ever noticed this, but whenever I lie I start playing with my hair, yeah I know weird.
"You're right I'm really scared.", I confesed.
"I know that moving to a completely new country is scaring you, but remember it's never to late to turn around and go back.", she said with a warming smile.
"Funny because dad said the exact opposite.", I mumbled low enough that it was barely audible.
"What?"
"Nothing.", I said with a smile. "How long until we arrive?", I asked.
"Fourty-five minutes.", she answered with a deep breath. After she said that I silently wished to myself that these fourty-five minutes would last just a little while longer.
Harry's P.O.V.
"Harry wake up you lazy bum!", Louis shouted as he came in the apartment door.
"Lou please I'm trying to get as much sleep as possible.", I said wiping my eyes.
"For what mate? We're on break for two weeks.", said Louis. Louis did have a point. I guess I just wanted to rest because thats always second nature when I get back from another country.
"Yeah I guess you're right.", I said getting out of bed. I walked into the kitchen to make some tea. Most people prefer coffee in the morning but I absolutly hate it. I don't know how people can drink that junk in the morning.
"Hey the the lads and Elanor and Danielle decided to go to a club tonight. You up for it?", Louis asked. I wasn't really in the mood for clubing tonight, but I didn't want to be a downer.
"Yeah, sure.", I said as I poured the cereal into my bowl.
"Um, I would find something else to eat for breakfast.", Louis said.
"Why?", I asked with a confused look.
"Because we're out of milk.", Louis said as I opened the fridge realising he was right.
"And you waited after I had poured my cereal."
"Well that would'nt have been as funny as this.", he said with a laugh heading in the living room. "Come on mate, lighten up tonights going to be fun and you need to have some as well."
As much as I wanted to argue back I couldn't because I knew he was right.
Diana's P.O.V.
We'd finally arrived at the school. After we had gone to the presentaion they had for the freshmen my mom was really stressing about where to go. After arguing for a minute we decided to get unpacked in my dorm. The dorms here were massive. We headed towards the girls dorms and mine was on the first floor so there wasn't much walking. When my mom and I had walked in there was already someone here. Half of the room was decorated and the other half was plain. I'm guessing the plain side was mine. When I sat my suitcase on my bed I heard someone coming out of the bathroom. It was a girl. She was a little taller than me but there wasn't much of a height difference. She had dark brown hair and was very skinny. She was wearing a small floral dress with heels on.
"Hi! You must be my roommate!", she said coming towards to greet me.
"Hi, I'm Diana.", I said shaking her hand.
"Hi I'm Holly", she said with a huge smile. She had really big green eyes.
"Hi I'm Mrs. Blake but you can call me Marie.", my mom said.
"Nice to meet you both. My parents just left. I hope you didn't mind me taking this side of the room, you weren't here yet so I didn't know which bed you would want.", Holly said with a smile.
"She's fine she'll take whatever she can.", my mom said answering for me. A large part of me really wanted my mom to leave now.
"Okay. I was just heading out to walk around, I guess I'll see you later Diana.", Holly said walking towards the door.
"Okay bye.", I said, as she shut the door.
"Nice roomate check.", I said as I fell onto my bed.
"You need to hurry and unpack so we can get to the Library to get your school books."
Not arguing with my mom, I unpacked my things from my suitcase. I put all my clothes into the droor beside my bed. Then hung up all my dresses in the closet. After I put all my small things like my tooth brush and my make-up in the bathroom.
"I'll finish unpacking all the less important stuff later can we just go to the library already to get it over with?", I asked my mom.
"Yeah let's go
We headed out towards the door and out the building and into the car.
"The library's right there we don't need to drive,", my mom said pointing to the building near my dorm. It didn't take long to get to the library. Once we got in I pulled out my list of books they gave in the mail.
"I need and an English text book, a Writing text book, an Intellectual History: Modern, and an Ecolgy, Evolution, and Environmental science book.", I told her hoping she took all that in. When we had found all of the books and cjecked them out, we headed back to the dorm. Once we got to my dorm room, it hit me that I was finally saying goodbye to my mom.
"Well I guess it's time for me to leave now.", my mom said. I could already see the tears forming in her eyes.
"Yeah.", I said as well with tears in mine.
She pulled me in for a long, warm hug, "Make sure to call often okay?"
"Okay."
My family wasn't really the touchy "I love you" type. We were more of a pat on the back and be on your way type, but this was surely the exact opposite.
"Mom aren't you staying in London for a while?", I asked remembering the converstion we had yesterday.
"Don't you know me long enough to know that I was joking.", she said.
"Oh.", I said with a hint of relief in my voice.
"I'll be meeting Mrs. Grace after I leave and I'll be giving her your number so answer any number that looks unfailiar.", she said. "Goodbye Diana.", she pulled me in for one last hug.
"Goodbye mom." I watched her walk out of my dorm room. I layed on my bed pulling out my phone. I've had fifty new text messages from diferent people in my contacts. I haven't checked my phone since we got on the plane because we had to turn them off during the flight. I'll check them later after I get stabled and rest for a while.
As I started to close my eyes I heard a loud shut of the door. I looked up to see Holly running towards me.
"Hey Diana! A couple of people I've met earlier are going to a club later on. Wanna go?", she asked. Startled by her invitation I shook my head yes not sure of what to say.
"Okay get dressed we've got an hour until we leave!", she said as she rushed into the bathroom.
I sat up on the bed and I whispered to myself, "What have I gotten myself into?"
please vote and comment :) oh and I imagine Holly as Lucy Hale
