Scarlett's POV
"Alright, passengers, we have arrived at Raven Security Regional Prison," the train conductor started, "make sure to stay safe, look out for anything suspicious, and don't hesitate to contact us if you see anything strange."
I looked over at my two sleeping friends, Jennie and Khloe. "We will be arriving shortly at the prison area, once again, congratulations on getting invited to this year's annual escape house, enjoy your time."
"We'll be there soon," I whispered to my friends. Looking out the window again, the bridge connecting the two islands together get closer, and closer. Once the rusty train was on the old stone bridge, I get a good glance of the prison. Dark gray clouds swirled around the large, castle-looking prison. Large patches of dark green mold covered the prison, which was in many different shades of gray. Once our train was only a couple of meters away, I woke up my two friends and got ready.
Packing up my book inside my green luggage, I see something popping out of the bottom of my train seat. Pulling it out, I notice that it's a paper, a very old paper. More precise, a letter. It was folded and the writer used tape to cover it. Pulling off the tape and opening the letter, it says,
"Dear whoever have opened this letter, you have made a large mistake. Whatever you do, do not go to this prison in all costs. You have been warned," it read. That's strange, isn't this just an escape house? Not believing the letter, I shove it deep inside my pocket and stood up, with my luggage in one hand and a leaflet in the other.
"It's time to go!" Jennie shrieked with excitement. She's got her smartphone in her hand and her face lit up with enthusiasm, as usual. One of the train crew leads us out of the train. Once we got off of the train, we finally get a glance of the prison. I know I said that already before, but up close, it doesn't just look beautiful, it looks terrifying.
I'm starting to get second thoughts of this place, and I think my friends feel the same way too, by the look on their expressionless faces. Khloe turned back slowly, feeling the regret. Once she fully turned her head around, we've realized, the train has gone.
