Mr. Anyle's POV

'Hello?' I was anxious. As I waited for her to reply. 'Who is this?' I let out a sigh of relief but I still felt nervous. 'It's Anyle. I got a new phone.' She replied five minutes after. 'Oh. What do you want? Want me to deliver something from home to go to the prison? Want me to deliver more bottles of Sprite?'

I thinks she still hates me for what I did. 'Actually, no.' I felt much more nervous. 'What then?' Fingers shaking, I typed again. 'I want you to go somewhere. Somewhere special.' As I hit the send button, I felt like I melted. I hope she comes.

"I got your text." I looked up from my phone. "You're really here." She put her sunglasses inside her bag. "Yeah well, I have nothing to do." I fidgeted with my fingers. "Why are we here anyways?" I took a deep breath.

"Remember this place Ella?" She nodded. "Of course I do-our first date." I smiled. I took her to this carnival. I ran towards a churro stand and came back. "A churro..." She said softly. "A churro. Our first kiss."

"Ella," I sighed but continued "I'm sorry I left you. Alone and sad for all these years. I honestly thought you found someone better than me. I'm a jerk who left his wife alone for what feels like eternity. You said going to the prison was a bad idea. You've seen what that girl has done. You were right, I shouldn't have stepped foot inside it."

"But, I found all of our students, the troublemakers. Huh, I miss being with them, but most importantly, with you. I love you..." I sighed as I stood up. Before I left, her hand grabbed my wrist. "I love you too. You will always be the one for me. No matter the bad decisions you made, and the consequences. I'm here for you."
