Kidnapped

Chapter 7:

     "WAKE UP CHARMANDER AND RAICHU YOU LAZY BA-" Exploud shouted before the breakfast bell interrupted him.

     "Shut up," said Raichu as he recovered from the sound of Exploud's shouting. Charmander and Raichu walked downstairs to eat their awaiting breakfast of cooked berries and apples.

     Chatot was speaking with Arbok, Weezing, and Crobat outside of the guild. "So you remember the plan, right?" Chatot asked after briefly explaining it to them.

     "Yeah, but what makes you think we're gonna work for you?" Crobat asked.

     "He issss right. We don't work for free," Arbok agreed.

     "I know, but will you work for 500 pokedollars?" asked Chatot as she showed them 3 bags full of pokedollars. "As long as you agree to it, you will receive your pay. But if not, I'm afraid I cannot give this to you."

     "All right, we'll do it," Weezing decided as they received the bags of money.

     They entered the guild and Weezing immediately used Smokescreen. In the confusion, Arbok and Crobat placed Raichu and Charmander into bags and carried them away. "Excellent, everything is going as planned," Chatot thought while grinning.

     After the smoke cleared, the pokemon began worriedly speaking with each other.

     "What was that all about?" Totodile asked.

     "It seemed like it was a robbery by evil pokemon," Treecko replied.

     "Did they steal anything from the guild? Everything seems to be here..." Golduck said.

     "Perhaps they were after our money. They must have been robbers," concluded Treecko.

     "Or maybe they were kidnapping pokemon," Poochyena assumed. "Has anyone seen Raichu or Charmander recently?" They looked around, expectant to find Charmander and Raichu somewhere, but they were gone.

     Meanwhile, Charmander and Raichu were boisterously struggling to escape from the bags. "Will you shut up?!" Crobat said, getting agitated. "If you make one more sound then I'll hurt you."

     After 20 minutes, Charmander and Raichu were released from the bags and locked in a cage as Crobat, Arbok, and Weezing jovially counted their pokedollars. "We need to find a way to escape from here," Charmander whispered to Raichu.

     "I know that, but how can we? If we attempt to attack the metal bars and escape, they will notice us," Raichu whispered in reply. "We could wait for them to leave, but that could take hours. They will probably have one pokemon take watch when they leave to assure that we will not escape."

     "I have a plan. Raichu, when I say 'now', you will aim your Thunder Bolt attack towards that pond," Charmander said while pointing at a nearby pond. "This ground is minutely damp so the electricity will create a current from the pond to this location, and it will shock those three pokemon." Charmander finished while impressed about his idea.

     "Do you realize that we are linside of a metal cage? Not only will the electricity shock Arbok, Weezing, and Crobat; but it will also shock us more severely," Raichu replied with a sigh.

     "But when the electric current arrives, we can both jump when I say the signal and avoid any injuries!" Charmander reassured.

     "Shhhh! If they hear our plan, then we will have no escape!" Raichu whispered. "But that is a decent plan."

     "Okay so are you ready, Raichu?" Charmander whispered. "Now!"

     Raichu used Thunder Bolt on the pond and sent a current of electricity towards them on the shore. "Jump!" Charmander said preliminary to the electricity overcoming them, and they both jumped while Arbok, Crobat, and Weezing were shocked and fell unconsciously to the damp ground.

     "Quick! now's our chance to escape while they are unconscious! Use Flame Charge while I attack with Thunder Bolt!" Raichu said. They both attacked the metal bars simultaneously. After the first attack, the bars slightly gave way, and after the second attack, the bars broke open and they made their escape to the Guild.

     Chatot was gleefully eating her dinner and glad that her plan had succeeded. She had finally gotten rid of Charmander and Raichu. "That will show those atrocious pokemon not to mess with me," Chatot thought to herself. Suddenly, Chatot glanced out of the nearest window and saw Raichu and Chamander running towards the guild.

     "What? How could this happen?! That d*** pokemon gang let them escape! I'm getting my money back!" Chatot furiously thought.

     "Hiya, friends!" Wigglytuff greeted Charmander and Raichu as they entered. Where have you been? I didn't send any pokemon on missions today."

     Charmander and Raichu had decided that one of the pokemon in the guild had decided to hire that pokemon gang to kidnap them, and the only pokemon they presumed would possibly think of this would be-

     "It was Chatot," Charmander accused. "She paid a pokemon gang to kidnap us while they made a diversion from Smokescreen."

     "Is this true, Chatot?" Wigglytuff asked darkly. "Did you try to kidnap Raichu and Charmander?"

     "No! I don't know anything about it! I was just as suprised as you were when they kidnapped them." Chatot answered suspiciously.

     "Really? Then why is it that you weren't here for breakfast? And where did 500 of the guild's pokedollars go? You are the only other pokemon who has permitted access to our guild's money," Wigglytuff interrogated. "I am afraid we are at the last straw. Chatot, you are fired."

     "WHAT?! You want to fire me? Fire them; they are nothing but trouble anyway! You have no evidence against me!" Chatot argued while being carried away by the guild security guards. "This isn't the last you will see of me!"
