Training

Chapter 6:

     "GET UP MORONS!" Exploud roared.

     "That's IT! Get back here you son of a bi-" Pikachu yelled furiously.

     "BEEEEEP!" the breakfast bell rang.

     They walked downstairs (Pikachu saw Exploud and punched him in the face) to eat breakfast.

     After eating, Wigglytuff hopped over to Charmander and Pikachu. "I know the both of you work very hard, but you have been here for a week and you are still level five-or six. Some newcomers are already level nine. So I recommend for the both of you to go to Lucario's Dojo and train today." said Wigglytuff.

     Charmander and Pikachu left the room and looked at the map in the main room. They located Lucario's Dojo to be one kilometer away from the guild. "Well, it isn't that far way." said Charmander.

     They walked to a hut named "Lucario's Dojo" and entered.

     "Visitors!" Lucario shouted. "Do you think you are prepared to fight in harsh battles and get through intricate mazes? It is not easy at all!"

     "It can't be that bad, it is just a training dungeon." Pikachu said.

     "'Just a training dungeon?!' You will fight your worst nightmares in here!" Lucario shouted.

     "What's his issue?" Pikachu murmured.

     "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Lucario roared.

     "Nothing important. Okay, I think we are ready." said Pikachu. They both entered the dungeon as the door shut behind them eliminating any chance of returning.

     As they walked through large rooms and tunnels, they encountered a wild Deino Lv. 7 blocking the staircase laeding to the next floor. The Deino used Dragon Rage on Charmander who immediately leaped to the side and narrowly avoided it. Charmander retaliated with a Scratch attack that deprived 4 HP out of 13 HP from her. However, Deino recovered quickly and used another Dragon Rage on Charmander. Knowing that Dragon Rage always deducted 40 HP from the opponent, Pikachu knew that if Charmander didn't dodge it, he would faint.

     "Charmander look out!" Pikachu frantically said, but Charmander wasn't ready so he got hit with the move and immediately fell unconsciously to the ground. Furiously, Pikachu attacked the Deino with Thunder Shock and caused the Deino to lose 4 more HP. "Just one attack of Dragon Rage against me will defeat me," Pikachu pondered. "There is no way I can win this battle unless..." Pikachu glanced around and saw a Thunder Stone on the floor a few meters away.

     Pikachu quietly walked over to the Thunder Stone unnoticed, until Deino realized his plan and attacked with Dragon Rage. Pikachu lunged for the stone just as the attack striked him and he fell to the ground. While Deino thought that she had been victorious, Pikachu started to glow. Slowly, he began changing shape and increasing in size. When the glow vanished, Deino realized what had occured. Pikachu had evolved into a Riachu!

     Raichu used his new move of Thunder Bolt against Deino which instantly defeated it. Raichu received 9 EXP from the victory and carried the unconscious Charmander to safety.

     Later that night, Chatot was devising a plan to expel Charmander and Raichu. "I'll invite the infamous gang of Arbok, Weezing, and Crobat to come here tomorrow. While Weezing creates a diversion by using Smokescreen, Arbok and Crobat will kidnap Charmander and Raichu. When the smoke dissipates, they will have left and I will explain it was a misfortunate accident," Chatot said to himself.

     "They've been nothing but trouble ever since they first joined the guild. They taunted me by leaving me alone outside with a ghost pokemon. Well I'll show them for a change. And I don't need to worry about the infamous gang not deciding to help me because I will obligate them with tons of Pokedollars. I'll get rid of them once and for all!" Chatot continued, satisflied with her brilliant plan.

     "Is there a problem, friend?" Wigglytuff asked Chatot after overhearing her. "There's no need to be shouting when Pokemon are asleep."

     "I'm sorry, was I being too loud?" Chatot apologized. "Did you hear what I was saying earlier?" Chatot worriedly asked.

     "No, I didn't hear what you said but it is slightly loud, so if you don't mind, could you go to sleep? Remember that you are on probation. You have already been suspended once," Wigglytuff replied before closing the door and hopping away while humming. Chatot walked away to her bed feeling relieved and fell asleep, not worried at all that anyone would catch her.
