I smiled sweetly as they took my coat from my shoulders. I was wearing a royal blue full length dress with a small trail. It was strapless and diamonds around the waist, the material hugged my body in the right areas and lowed nicely against the floor. I nervously pulled up my elbow length white gloves, my hair in its usual plait over my left shoulder as I glanced around the gala.
"Champagne Miss?" A voice asked as a waiter came round with his tray of glasses as I smiled gave a small thankyou before taking a glass from his tray as he went to serve more drinks. Just as I took a small sip I smiled to see a good friend of mine. He was the head doctor here at the Stuttgart gala, he had requested I had come as I gave him a wink watching as he made his way up the steps towards the microphone.
I wasn't really paying that much attention to his speech when I heard a sudden whack and a few screams. Suddenly a tall lean figure had grabbed the doctor and flipped him onto a marble table of mythological creatures. I immediately recognised that determined emerald green eyes that slicked black hair and bone structure. Loki.
My breath had caught in my throat; they had found me as the glass in my hand soon froze over. I watched as Loki pulls out an optical torture device and watch him plunge into the doctor's eye as he twists in pain causing more screams and everyone to run. I let the frozen glass drop from my hand as it shattered at my feet. It didn't make the noise of broken glass, the sound of shattering crystals made his head snap up towards me.
Our eyes locked as I gulped and staggered back and let someone drag me away in fear as I continued to run. If Loki knew I was here, how long until my sister's followed his lead. As the crowd runs away, I noticed Loki slowly walking out of the Gala and materialize in his gold armour and helmet. My heart pounded harder, I couldn't deny that he looked devilishly handsome. The police began to arrive and with no hesitation, he blasts the cars, flipping them over and over.
"Kneel before me." He commanded as I gasped in horror. What had happened to the Loki I knew back in Asgard. The crowd ignores him trying to run away further when another Loki appears, blocking the crowd. Loki after Loki appears they all grin as they raise their spears, encircling the crowd. I gulped I held my hands together frightened I would lose control. I went to run only to bump straight into his strong chest; he smirked down at me as I gulped.
"KNEEL!!!" He shouted as I watched as everyone becomes quiet and kneels in front him. Loki embracing his arms out, smiling, I knew the Loki that was holding was an illusion but his strength gripped my forearm preventing me from running as I gulped watching him.
"Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel." He laughed evilly as the words resonate to the kneeling crowd; an elderly man refuses to kneel and stands, heroic.
"Not to men like you." He spoke keeping his voice level as I gulped. Oh dear!
"There are no men like me." Loki bragged.
"There are always men like you." The Old Man defended as Loki chuckled darkly, I knew that look as I squirmed harder against the version of Loki that held me hostage as he pulled towards him. My arms on his chest as I could feel his toned abs under his shirt. Did I happen to mention he was a full head taller?
