CLARA'S P.O.V
Each one of us was booming with excitement. After all it was my best friend's birthday. But there was a huge problem lying in front of me and that was about what to gift her. Now before you guys go all 'she doesn't even know her best friend good enough to get her cool gifts..' let me get this straight. I know her very well and we have been best friends since I don't even remember and that's basically the problem.. Each year I have gifted her with so many and unique gifts that there is nothing left anymore.' There you see my problem now?
It was lunch break in school and we all very hungry to even glance at each other. As a result there was dead silence on our table. We all were stuffing our mouth with so much food that people felt we were hungry for years now. The lunch lady even gave us a muffin for free probably pitting us. But we got it for free, that's what matters right?
"Guys is anything wrong? Why are you all so quite all of a sudden?" said the most annoying voice i have ever heard. Who? Tyler? No not him, though that could be an excellent guess. It was Arie also known as the queen bitch of our school. Cliché much? Yeah I agree.
"What do you need? If nothing you can leave already" said Maria already bored of the conversation. That's my girl.
"Aww common Maria don't be so rude. I just came here to say Hii to Ryan"she said batting her eyelashes. If only i could pluck them off. Hearing this I gave Stella a look asking her to control as she was ready to rip her head off.
"As you can see, he is not interested in talking to you. So now do yourself a favour and leave us the hell alone." I snapped.
"Listen here bitch.." she said looking at me but was cut of by the next annoying person. Yeah you got it right none other than Tyler himself.
"No you listen here.. Whoever the hell you are.. I don't know and I don't care but the next time you say anything like that to Clara or any other person in this group of mine, I'll make you regret the day you were born" he said.
He isn't that annoying after all right? Before she could reply any further there was an announcement catching every bodies attention.
"Listen here students. This announcement is to inform you that our school is planning on a camp on next Monday. It will be a 5 day adventure camp. So I request everyone who is interested in this to submit their names with their respective teachers by tomorrow but with a permission slip from your parents. Thank you, you all may now go back to doing your work"
There was a huge cheer from all around the canteen and everyone had goofy faces all along.
*The day of Stella's birthday*
"So guys our mission begins from this very moment. We all have to act as casually as we can when around Stella so that she has no idea about our plan, okay?" asked Maria.
"Yes madam" I said rolling my eyes. I swear this girl goes too much into everything. Ryan was currently with Stella wishing her Happy Birthday in our school parking lot and doing what else I have no idea about.
"Uhh its been 15 mins already how long does it take to wish a freaking Happy Birthday?" said Alex getting impatient.
"Oh cut it you chunk.. cannot a couple even have their privacy for more than a couple of minutes now?" Ryan said hitting Alex on back of his head. Wait.. when did they even join us?
"Wait when did you come?" Alex asked voicing my thoughts.
"When you were busy complaining like a freaking baby" Ryan said to which Stella Maria and I laughed out loud while Tyler just snickered.
"I was not complaining like a baby" Alex huffed.
"You were"
"I wasn't"
"Were too"
"Was not"
"Enough.. now is any one of you lazy and the most stupid people know to mankind going to wish me or do we have to wait here for these two idiots to finish their ridiculous argument?" Stella barked.
Ohh yes her birthday.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY STELLA" we all screamed and hugged her all at the same time.
"Can't brea..th" she somehow managed to say to which we sheepishly withdrew from her.
"Sweetheart i'll have to rush for my lecture now but see you soon" Ryan said giving her a sloppy kiss and ran away with Tyler following him.. But that was enough to have a huge smile on Stella's face.
"Guys where is my gift?" she asked.
"Uhh.. idk what are you talking about.. what gift? Do we even gift each other anything these days?" Maria said getting all nervous. So much for acting casual.
"You will have it soon babe.. now common lets go or we will be late" I said diverting her suspicious attention from Maria.
Everyone on our way to the class wished Stella asking her to enjoy her day to the fullest. 'Of course she will..' I thought.
There right on her desk sat the huge envelope that Alex kept in the morning. Surprised Stella grabbed and opened it. It read :
"And the treasure hunt begins.. your first clue is
FINDING THE FIRST CLUE WILL BE A TREAT.. LOOK FOR IT SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU WILL FIND SOMETHING TO EAT"
