Jack's P.O.V

Now that I had this chance to be with Clara, I was going to make full use of it. I knew she had a crush on me before but I was too much of a coward to ask her out but now that Tyler is in picture I feel threatened. It is as clear as daylight that the boy has set his eyes out on Clara. I won't let it happen though. Clara is mine and I don't share. So what if I am kinda late? I will make her fall for me real hard. I definitely will.

"So Clara tell me why a girl as beautiful as you is still single?" I asked taking a seat beside her. I sat so close that out hands touched each other and she stiffened but relaxed a while later. God it felt so good. I can definitely get used to this.

I saw her blush after my complement making me grin.

"Waiting for the right guy to come?" she said or more like questioned.

"And how are you going to recognize him? What if he is seated right beside you and you have no idea about it?" I asked.

"I am not that naive Jack, I will definitely know it" she said determined. If only that was true Clara, if only.

"Oh but trust me you are" I murmured not intending her to hear but she did anyway.

"What?" she asked confused.

"Go out with me once?"I blurted out. To say she was shocked would be an understatement.

Minutes passed and yet she did not reply she just kept staring at me. My resolve was slowly crumbling down and then something happened.

She merely shrugged and said 'why not?' smiling at me. I was the happiest man alive.

Clara's P.O.V

I was definitely surprised when Jack asked me out on a date. I mean it is not everyday that your crush asks you out is it? I was caught by surprise and my stupid brain decided that it would be a great time to shut down. Hence the late reply. But once it started working again I thought why not right? I mean he is handsome and girls would kill to be in my place and also my crush, this is a win win situation. Then why was I feeling disappointed? Like I wished it was someone else who asked me out instead?

Shrugging the thoughts away I agreed. I am not going to lie I am kind of excited for this date to come.

The rest of the ride was simple by us making casual talks and him telling some silly jokes. He is great at making me laugh. I laughed so much that my stomach is till now hurting. Time flew so fast and we had already reached our destination. I saw other boats lining on the shore along with ours.

Jack being the gentleman he is got down first and offered me his hand. I took his hand blushing. God stop blushing already.

"Okay students now that we have reached here, I have arranged some food for you guys. Knowing how hungry teenagers can be, there is plenty of it. So now I suggest you all to first go eat something and then we shall continue our journey" our teacher announced from nowhere.

"Why don't you go grab a table why I get our bags?" Jack suggested. I happily agreed for two reasons, one that I was to bored to carry the luggage and second, who says no to food? Food is BAE.

Happily hopping towards the table I was greeted by an over excited Stella who had already secured us a table.

"Oh god I missed you so much.. I thought I would die of boredom without you" Stella being her overdramatic self said.

"Stella its just been some hours not years" I said laughing.

"Well easy for you when you have a handsome hunk entertaining you, I could not even see Ryan. I missed him so bad" she said pouting. I just rolled my eyes. I can't really object that.

"Hey guys" Maria said accompanied by Alex. Of course, they were like glued to each other.

"Where is Tyler?" I found myself asking.

"Missing him already?" Maria teased smirking. I merely shrugged. I can't lie I did miss him on the boat. Though Jack kept me utterly entertained I just missed his presence. I guess I was just accustomed to his annoying self.

"He is on his way just getting our bags, now common I am starving" she said pulling me to the table.

Jack joined us too in no time. So I was now seated between Maria and Jack who had Stella on his other side while Alex was beside Maria. We saw both Ryan and Tyler making their way towards our table.

"What I don't get any place to sit?" Ryan said glancing at our now full table.

"Just grab an extra chair babe" Stella said rolling her eyes.

"But all the chairs are already full, and I don't wanna stand" he said pouting. Stella sighed.

"Here, come sit in my chair, I'll sit on your lap" Stella suggested. Ryan's eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas. He had a goofy smile while he sat and pulled Stella on his lap. Though she tried to hide, we all saw the bubbling smile on Stella's face.

"And what about me? I stand just because I am single?" Tyler asked being his dramatic self.

"Yes" Alex said laughing.

"Common Clara, give him your seat" Maria said looking at me.

"Me? Nope. Why don't you give him your seat huh?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

I had no time to listen to her reply as I yelped in surprise. Tyler suddenly picked me up, sat on my chair and placed me in his lap. What? How? That fast? I tried to get up but he circled his hand around my waist and kept me in place.

Though I loved sitting in his lap I won't agree it in front of him. So I started struggling.

"Clara darling stop struggling, you are not really helping my situation here" he whispered in my ear making me blush. I stopped immediately.

I felt Jack become stiff beside me but everyone else was back to eating their their food as if it was a normal sight. Knowing that I had no other option I just decided to relax. Just as I was about to take a bite of my food I heard someone scream.

"Put me down you idiot, who do you think you are? You you moron" someone screamed.

We all looked in the direction of the voice only to see a very pissed of Ema on the shoulder of a smirking Cameron making way towards our table. What?
