"Here we go again!" Dillan yells to the world.
"Why- just why do you have to shout it to the whole world?" I ask him rhetorically.
"Because, I'll miss my family and will be shot if I didn't say that," Dillan explains even though I didn't want him to.
"The ship is at bay 14-98-567," Eric reports as he comes walking to us.
"So smart," I say sarcastically to him. "We all know, Eric Snyder."
"Why do you need to say my last name in public, Zara Aurora?" He asks.
"Because the world deserves to know!" I shout twirling around him. Sierra chuckles at my display of girl-instincts and my pranks I stick on him.
"Wow Zara. 'Very' mature," he says, hiding the fact that he's ticked to the point of no return.
"You do know I can tell how you are feeling, right Eric?" I tell him in the most polite way possible.
"Y-you c-can?" He says trying to sound tough.
"Yeah, because I can tell that right now, you're scared so badly, you're wondering if you can trust me. Well you can. I can also read minds," I tell him.
"What number am I thinking of right now?" He asks trying to prove that I can't.
"864," I say.
"Oh... My... God...," He says, almost scared to death
"I know, I'm that devilish," I say, giving him a crooked smile.
"Yo-you made a d-deal with th-the devil!" He shouts, turning a shade of white. Sierra, Dillan, and I burst out laughing hysterically. We all start falling onto the ground at the joke I made, directed at Eric.
"THAT IS NOT FUNNY!!!" Eric screams.
"Yes it is!" I say, laughing so hard, it hurts.
"I agree with Zara," Sierra says to him.
"Ditto!" Dillan says, pointing his finger up in the air.
"The shuttle at bay 14-98-567 is leaving in ten minutes," The intercom announces. We all stop laughing and I scream;
"RUN!!!" As I finish, we burst out dashing towards the bay.
"You're not going to make it!" A flight attendant yells at us.
"YES WE ARE!!!" We scream at him. I pull some odd looking pearls out marked; Use only in emergencies.
"EAT THESE AND THINK INSIDE BAY 14-98-567!" I say throwing them around to everyone.
"WHY?!" Eric screams, popping one into his mouth.
"Because they will teleport us over in there!" Sierra yells at him, stopping and disappearing. I pop mine in to my mouth and concentrate, closing my eyes, thinking inside the shuttle at bay 14-98-567. I stop and I open my eyes and see I'm standing inside of the shuttle, watching everyone else boarding the shuttle.
"Prepare for takeoff," We hear the computer announce to the cabin.
"We made it," Dillan says, relived.
"Well yeah! Don't be such a Debbie downer Dillan," I tell him.
"Strap in everybody," Sierra says, calmly. We all comply, knowing what Sierra will do if we don't follow instructions.
"Well that was eventful," Eric says, hitting the launch countdown button.
"10... 9... 8... 7... 6...," The computer says.
