"Hey everyone! New ship in bound!" Dillan yells down.
"Guns ready, set them to stun!" I yell.
"They don't have a stun mode," Eric says.
"Turn this little knob," Sierra says, pointing to a knob on the side of his gun.
"Okay. Makes more sense now," Eric says.
"OPENING!" Dillan says, pointing his gun at the ship's bay door.
"Be prepared... For anything!" I say, lowering my gun level with the door that was slowly opening.
"Anyone out there?" I hear a familiar voice say.
"Sean?" I say, lowering my gun. "Is that you?"
"Yes it is. Who are you?" Sean asks.
"It's Zara. The person that had the milkshake on the ship," I say.
"You... Are?" Sean says, a hint of fear in his voice.
"Yes she is. Come out, we'll protect you," Dillan says in a nice, calm tone.
"Okay. I'm coming out now," Sean says.
"Don't be afraid, Sean," I hear a girl say.
"Who are you?" I demand, raising my gun to her shadowy figure.
"Calm down," She replies. "I'm his older sister, Vara."
"Vara?" I say, dropping my gun on the gun. "THE Vara Lorenzo?"
"That's me," Vara replies.
"Did anyone else come with you guys?" Dillan ask.
"Just us," Vara replies.
"Come on in. Do you guys have any power?" Eric says.
"No. It shut off as soon as we entered the atmosphere. The ship had emergency landing power left. That's it," Sean says, confidence in his voice, as he steps out of the ship, and onto the Earth's surface.
"Okay," I say, shoving everyone inside as the sun goes down and the dragon lands with a new friend.
"Who is this?" I say, pointing at a flaming bird.
"This is Phox, a phoenix," the dragon replies.
"And your name is?" I ask the dragon.
"Drako," Drako the drake replies.
"Nice to finally know your name," I say.
"And yours is?" Drako asks.
"Zara," I reply. Phox, mumbles something and chuckles.
"What was that?" Drako asks, lowering his head to listen to Phox.
"I suppose in some cases that can be funny," Drako says as he bring his head back up.
"What's so funny?" I ask, putting my hands on my hips.
"It's just so surprising you coordinate verbally," Drako says.
"Really?" I ask a bit of anger in my voice.
"Yes," Phox says, in a feminine voice.
"You're female?" I ask Phox telepathically.
"How is this possible?" Phox says in my head.
"Let's just say I'm different," I respond.
"Apparently," Drako says.
"And to answer your question, I am," Phox responds.
"All righty then," Drako says. "It is time for us to go."
