As we entered the room, we saw almost every single robot trooper in the cockpit, with all the scientists on the ground, as my friends- Eric, Dillan, and Sean –were ripping the robots to shreds with their guns. My gun began to morph into a mini gun when I heard a;
Click.
"Don't. Move," I hear a man say to me.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't," I say, sternly.
"I have my hand on the radioactive shielding switch," The man replies.
"Who are you?!" I demand.
"My name is Griffin," He replies.
"As in Griffin Graves? The one we came here to stop, Griffin Graves?!" Sean says, angrily.
"You are correct, little Sean," Griffin replies.
"I AM NOT LITTLE!" Sean says, tackling Griffin, knocking his hand away from the radioactive shielding switch.
"You insignificant little boy!" Griffin says, trying to knock him away.
How dare you talk to my brother like that!" Vara yells, kicking the door down and continuously punching him in the face.
"We need him alive!" I shout at Vara.
"WHY?!" Vara replies, angrily.
"Because, he needs to be put on trial for his actions!" I say, pulling Vara off of Griffin.
"Fine," Vara groans.
"Don't you think that he needs to be punished for lying to the people, and trying to destroy a populated planet?" Dillan says.
"I guess so. But he still gets to die," Vara replies.
"I don't think so," Xander says, pointing a gun at me.
"Really? Just when things were easy, life throws a curveball at you," I say, letting Griffin go.
"How could you?" Midnight says, as a tube closes around her.
"Above you my dear, is twenty gallons of holy water, mixed with five pounds of garlic," Griffin says, pointing above Midnight.
"You lived on Earth. How could you help this... Monster?" Sierra says, as a tube encloses her.
"I've known him longer, and he will provide shelter for me," Xander replies.
"Why you little..." Eric says, as he too gets enclosed by a tube.
"Above you two are heavy machines, packed full of bullets," Griffin says, walking around their tubes.
"GRENADE!!!" We all hear Vexon shout as I and Dillan take cover behind a nearby control panel, while Griffin, Xander, and Vara get enclosed by tubes.
Boom!
"Vexon!" I shout, as he runs in, destroying the rest of the robots and opening the capture tubes.
"My hero," Vara says, coming close to kissing Vexon, when she gets shot in the back.
"NO!" Vexon shouts, as Vara is bleeding out in his arms.
"It didn't need to come to this," Griffin says, lowering his gun.
"How... could you?" Sean says, kneeling by his sister, crying.
"I... I love you. Both of you," Vara says, as she puts her hand on both of them individually.
"We love you two," Vexon says. "I'll take great care of Sean after this idiotic moron here," He says, pointing at Griffin. "Gets what's right for him."
